Months have passed. I've learned so much tagalog. Like 'Pero, Paano, Ano, Sino, Sila' and many more. And no days have passed na mom haven't raised her voice at me or pinagbubuhatan ako ng kamay. Just like what Grandma said. Guess what? Lucy and Grandma are my tutors for Filipino Language. Cause I have this subject na Filipino. So in order to pass this subject ang sabi ni Grandma I need to learn tagalog. So here I am, learning it.
Today is saturday september. My Mother's birthday is coming soon. Her birthday is September Eight. Same with Mama Mary's birthday. So I am so excited to celebrate it with my family. Especially with my mother. She is the best mother in the whole wide world. Even though na she always yell at me whenever we talk to each other, it doesn't matter. As long as she's there it's enough for me to be happy. But something bothers me. I want mother to be happy.
I never seen mother smile.
So my main goal on September is to make her happy. Today is September five. So I have three days to prepare for her.
"Grandson. Will you help me carry these groceries?" Its grandma! She's home!
"Grandma!" I ran towards her and hugged her tight. She hugged back.
"Where's your mother?" She asked.
"In her room." I answered. I heard her sighed.
"Here carry these." She gave me the paper bag. I shook my head.
"No Grandma. I will carry these." I said and started pulling the box.
"Akala ko ba bubuhatin mo? You're already pulling it." She said. I laughed.
"Hahaha. Don't worry Grandma. As long as hindi ka mahihirapan." I said and continued pulling it inside the kitchen.
"You silly child." I heard Grandma said. But I didn't mind it.
"Uh- Grandma. What is mother's favorite food?" I asked grandma while she is arranging the groceries in the hanging cabinet.
"It's chicken curry why?" She asked back.
"What is her favorite color?" I asked again.
"Blue why?"
"What is her favorite drinks?" I asked.
"I think it is Coke. I remember your mother couldn't let go a bottle of coke when she was on your age." I laughed.
"Really? Wow! Mother must've been so addicted on coke!" I said between laughs.
"Why'd you asked?" She asked.
"I wanna surprise her on her birthday." I answered. I saw her stopped bringing the groceries in the hanging cabinet. And I heard her sighed. She turned to face me and I saw her face full of sadness and her eyes looked so worried.
"Why?" She asked.
"What why grandma?" I asked.
