I woke up early to help grandma prepare some breakfast. I always end up seeing her in the kitchen every time I woke up early.

While grandma was stirring up a soup I asked her.

"Grandma?"

"Yes dear?"

"Does mama loves me?"

I saw her sighed and looked at me with her faced looked worried. She bends down and looked straight to my eyes and she held my chin.

She smiled. "No mother has never loved their children dear." Then she started patting my head.

"Why ask such a question?" She asked.

"I don't know? Although, I know mom loves me but... I feel like something is incomplete. And I don't know what is it." I answered frankly.

I heard her sigh. "Don't bother yourself thinking a lot of questions my dear. It'll make you old just like me." Then I began to worry.

"Really grandma? Like that skin of yours hanging?" I asked like I was disgusted.

"Haha. Yes. Just like this. So stop bothering yourself okay?" I nodded.

"Now. I guess my soup is ready. Will you taste it?" She asked. I nodded with a big smile on my face.

"Yummy!" I exclaimed when she served me her soup.

"Really? Haha. Now go finish that soup and I will prepare your uniform and boil some water for your bath." I just nodded at her and continued eating and sipping the soup.

Grandma's soup is the best! I love the aroma. Well? I really love grandma's cooking. Every food she serves I get to finish it.

After I ate, I went to my room and I started to prepare myself for school. After which, I am ready to go!

"Grandma! Have to go!" I exclaimed.

"Okay dear. Don't forget to eat okay?" She said. I just nodded at her in the kitchen eating with mother,

I saw the school bus stopped over the house and I went in and now we're going to school.

"Hey Nathan! Race you to our classroom." Lucy said when we're still in the school bus.

"Is it really necessary?" I asked. She nodded.

"Of course we are friends. What friends can do?" She said between laughs. I just shook my head and bit my lower lip. She is more hyper than me and she gives me embarrassments. Yet she's still my friend. Hahaha. Don't know why.

"Okay here we are!" She exclaimed when the bus stopped in front of our school.

"Come on Nathan! Ang bagal mo!" She said while pulling me up. Even though I didn't understand much the words she said last. I just stood up and started  running outside.

"Hey! That's cheating!" I heard her complain but I was already out of the bus.

~After classes~

"Hey! Come on Nathan!" She protested while pulling me to the playground. I remember, I promised her yesterday to play here today but I was not on the mood.
