Great Temptation Bellas POV

"Hey, Renessme?" I called, grabing her dirty grape bowl and tossing into my pile of dishes. "Don't you have to do your school hours with Carisle still?" With her rapid mental and physical growth, Renessme could not fit in or benefit academically from normal schooling, so Carlisle would teach her after his shift at the hospital. Everyone pitched in- Edward, Alice, and the others- except really for me. I had been through high school only once, while the other "teens" had relived the high school hormone filled suburgatory (if not hell) dozens of times.

"Mom.." Renessme groaned, with her face blushing into baby pink. "I'm chilling with Jacob right now..."

"Go," I commanded, feeling mom-like. "Go."

Renessme stomped away, up the stairs, screaming for her grandfather.

"I'm jealous, Jacob," I told him, as soon as Renessme was faded into Carlisles study. "I remember when you looked at me like that."

Awkward silence swept over us.

"I didn't mean to imprint on her," Jacob half apologized half explained. "I wish it wasn't your daughter. Because sometimes I look at you... And wish it felt like it used to. Do you know how long its been since I kissed a girl? I have to wait until Nessie is grown and ready... But..."

"You want to be loved... Like that," I added, fumbling with my hair.

"Yeah... I do." Jacob put his head down, ashamed. "It's like this imprinting thing didn't work. Sometimes I want her in ways she can't give me because she's so young..."

I spat out, quickly, "But I can." I pressed my lips onto Jacobs. I draped my arms around him and let him kiss me back. Jacob put his hands on m waist and pulled me close, never letting his lips remove off mine. I could smell a hint of pine from a run through the forest. I felt the heat radiate off his skin like a fiery torch.

A moment, so pure, so breathless...

"Stop.. woah," jacob said, stepping away. "Why would you do this to Edward?"

"When I said all this time I loved both of you... I don't think the 'both' part ended when I slid a wedding ring on.. there's something real between us." I stumbled on my words. "I think about you. A lot. Sometimes I doubt I picked the right monster."

"Bella.. I imprinted on your daughter," jacob said slowly, as if explaining to a child.

"But..." I fumbled again for words, but I found strength in actions. "Tell me you didn't enjoy... this." I again put my mouth on his.. jacob's body tensed but that intesity melted away into happiness.. joy....

"I did.." Jacob grinned. "Do you want dinner? The two of us? Out of Forks? Far away where we can do that..." he kissed me, and then grinned so hard that he just continued taking, "all night long?"
