'Tae?'

'Hmm?'

'Are we seeing the fireworks tonight?'

'Of course Y/N! I'll pick you up at 6pm.'

'Okay, see ya!' I hung up. Now all I have to do is wait another few hours till I see Taehyung again. I flopped onto my bed, thinking of how to pass time. In the end, I decided to put on some music and jam to it.

RING DING DONG

The doorbell sounded. I clambered onto the staircase rail the way Taehyung showed me and slid down to the door. Taehyung excitedly burst through the door before I even looked at the intercom and showered me with kisses.

'Y/N, wear something nice but comfortable, okay?'

'Yes babe,' I replied before leaning in and pecking his lips. I walked up the stairs and when I turned to close the door, I noticed Taehyung was right in front of my bedroom door.

'No Tae. Naughty Tae. Go down and wait in the lounge. I'm sure Himoto is on now,' I said plainly. Being the otaku he is, he eagerly nodded and followed my orders.

He's whipped. Totally whipped.

'Tae baby. I'm done,' I smiled as I glided down the stairs wearing a (fave colour) denim shorts and a tee/ (fave type of dress) and a simple white cardigan.

'Aweee so pwetty,' Taehyung leapt off his seat, switched off the TV and played with my hair/ squished my cheeks. Then he escorted me to his orange sports car and began driving.

After an hour of driving, I noticed we were high up on a hill with a full view of Seoul.

'Tae? You said we'd see the fireworks. What are we doing here?' I questioned.

'Secret,' he grinned and pressed a finger to his lips. 'Wait, I forgot. Put this on,' he handed me a blindfold. I blindfolded myself and say back in my seat. Soon, the car came to a halt. Taehyung lead me out then took off my blindfold. It was seven and the sun was setting, painting the sky with streaks of
Gold, pink and purple/ Orange, pink and blue/
Red, pink and yellow.

My jaw almost dropped to the floor at the scenery.

'Y/N, the sunset is beautiful but never as beautiful as you,' Taehyung grinned.

'Stop being so chee–'

Taehyung shut me up with a kiss as usual when I talk too much. We lay on the grass cuddling until 9pm. The skyline of Seoul was illuminated with colourful explosions as we gazed at the sight.

As the fireworks dissolved into the starlit sky and the display ended, Taehyung stood up and covered my eyes. Again, he led me somewhere unknown.

After a reasonably long walk, he uncovered my eyes. My eyes wandered around what seemed like a warehouse filled with fireworks.

'Oh my gosh babe! Is this for real?' I gasped.

'Of course. All for you, Y/N,' he gently placed another kiss on my lips. 'Well, it's ten. Let's head to the roof top,' Taehyung pulled me up the stairs.

We stood in silence on the flat roof and scanned around. There were several boxes of fireworks everywhere.

Taehyung reached for a box of fireworks as I was busy pulling out all the blue/ green/ yellow/ red/ orange/ pink fireworks from a box.

The two of us blasted music as we arranged fireworks across the rooftop.

'Done?' Taehyung asked.

'Yeah,' I looked at my fireworks which said '태태 사랑해요'/ was arranged in a heart.

'Stand back, Taehyung said and he hit a button, detonating my fireworks first. The (colour you chose) fireworks exploded, forming a (arrangement you chose). A smile of satisfaction crept into my face as I stared at my masterpiece.

Next, Taehyung sent his fireworks flying up which said 'Y/N, Will you marry me?'

He paced over to me and knelt down, opening a small box with a pink/ green/ blue/ yellow/ crystal clear diamond ring inside.

I pulled him up and kissed him passionately.

'Yes!' I exclaimed.

'That's why I brought you here. There will be no rumours, no running from sasaengs, no trouble,' he whispered and engulfed me in a hug.

Midnight was approaching and the last seconds of 2016 were ticking by.

'TEN!'

'NINE!'

'EIGHT!'

'SEVEN!'

'SIX!'

'FIVE!'

'FOUR!'

'THREE!'

'TWO!'

'ONE!'

We counted down with the crowd which could be heard.

'ZERO!'

Fireworks erupted, scattering colours across the night sky. Taehyung leant in as the year concluded with a bang! We sealed it off with a kiss as fireworks continued to go off with a bang bang bang.

Start and end every year with a bang.

🎉This year, expect me to update less often. I plan to excel in school and become an all rounder student (bc everyone says I have potential) and perhaps get a job. I'll also be spending time bettering and improving myself which means less screen time, less sleeping and lazing about. 🎉
