Lost in Tokyo

One month went by quick with the back to back schedules of filming, I barely even have time to get a wink of sleep. When I'm not filming, I try my best to FaceTime with him. Usually during my lull time on set, I spend it talking to him or napping if he's busy. Alden has also been supportive of my relationship with him. He's been my best friend for the past three months.

I have been keeping his secret, and he's been keeping mine. It's really funny how we have become the most unconventional love team. Our friendship works quite as well as if we aren't in the spotlight.

"Best!" He calls out.

"Uy!" I turn around from my make up chair and see him behind me.

"Wait, swear ka that you're not going to react or tell anyone."

"Gago, Den. May pinky swear pa? Ano tayo gradeschool?"

"That's besides the point. You'll meet him na!"

Oh right. Showbiz is never as it seems. I've been keeping this secret of his for three months now when he opened up to me that he was bisexual. Alden Richards is bisexual. He has a boyfriend- French sommelier he met while on a  music festival in Dublin.

As a matinee idol, it's difficult to keep up a front and to be open about your sexuality. He's had girlfriends both showbiz and non-showbiz but he also swings the other way. That side of him is a secret no one can dare know as he is trying to milk his fame as much as he can. It's not hard to be chummy with him because he was the typical guy-best friend you can be close and touchy with.

"Pierre!?"

"Shh. Sige kalat pa!"

"Nandito siya? As in Seoul?"

"Oo!"

"Paano?"

"He wanted to see me. Pero I told him we can meet him for dinner. Please? Come with me na."

"Oh my god!! Yes!! I can't wait to see him na."

Just like that I was happy for my best friend. He deserves to be happy in his own skin. I'm not one to judge who he loves, but I've seen how happy he is lately with Pierre. If the management knew what the both of us were up to we might be in deep trouble, but he's my partner-in-crime and we decided to cross the bridge when we get there. As for now, we were happy. With each other. As friends. And of one another's relationship and special someone.

I dress up in my favorite jeans and sweater to beat the cold weather. Spring time in Korea is still a bit cold and I can't stand the cold. I can't help but beam how happy Alden is and how nice Pierre is to him.

I fish out for my phone and message Richard. "Hi, I miss you." It didn't take long until he responds to my text. "I miss you too. Thinking about you." This text makes me smile. My phone rings, I excuse myself from Alden and Pierre and I answer the phone immediately.

"Hey you!"

"Hey yourself. What are you up to?"

"Dinner with Alden and his friend."

"You mean Pierre?" He corrects me.

What? He knows about Pierre? Since when?

"You know Pierre?"

"Alden told me when you locked me out of your room. He told me everything. We're tight you know?" His laugh. I miss his laugh. "Anyway, get back to your dinner. I don't want to disturb you."

"I'm okay to talk. So what have you been up to? Why'd you call?"

"Nothing. I missed your voice."

"I missed you too. So how's the conference?"

"We just ended and I'm on the way back to the hotel. I'm about to pack my things and fly somewhere with the company."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yup. Until when are you going to be in Korea?"

"Just a couple more days then we go back to Manila. I have a week off then back to Eat Bulaga. I feel burnt out really. So exhausted from everything."

"Perfect. Don't plan anything. I'll see you in Manila before my meetings. You'll have me for a week. Just you and me."

The thought excites me. I get to have him for a week. No work. No commitments. I guess this is what he finally calls babetime. I can't wait.

"There's nothing I would like more."

Okay, are you surprised I made "Alden" bisexual/gay? Hahaha. Well what I had in mind was Paolo Ballesteros. He was my peg for Alden. And come on! No one ever makes Alden gay in fics. Hahahaha.

I also wanted to give "Alden" a backstory just in case I stretch this story out for too long. I don't know where this is going still. Haha. Any suggestions?
