suddenly raman noticed something and stopped

i nodded my head in agreement my face had become red in embarrassment i didnt know what to do words weren't coming out of my mouth. i just wanted the ground to swallow me.

"arre wow ishu congrats yaar"

saying so raman hugged me

"accha ab chalo mujhe bhi bahut bhuk lagi lagi hai"

we helped ourselves with the servings and found a table to sit

just then his phone beeped indicating that he recceived a message as sson as he read the message he got upset. i seriously wanted to know what was there in the message and whom was it from

"kya hua raman koi problem hai kya?"

"nahi yaar koi problem nahi hai"

"raman ab tho hum dono dost hi na aap mujhse aapne saari problems share kar sakte ho"

"wo shagun ka message tha wo keh rahi thi ki wo mere saath nahi aa sakti kyu ki wo aapne naye friends ke saath kuch plan kar rahe hai. maine hum dono ke liye ek romantic date plan ki thi pura plan chopat ho gaya"

"its okay raman usse bolo ki tumne yeh sab plan kiya hai wo zarur aayegi"

"accha thik hai abhi aise udas mat baithe raho"

just then even my phone rang it was a call from subbu. he had called to inform me that he would not be able to drop me home as he has some important work.

"so raman both our dates are not going to come so lets finish our dinner and go home"

"accha how are you going to your house"

"ill book a cab "

"delhi mai raat ko cab mai jaogi mai tumhe nahi jane dunga. ill drop you"

"no arguments mai tumhara boss hu and its an order"

we had rest of the dinner mostly in silence except one or two questions about random things

"accha ishu its only 8pm if you dont mind then can i take you to a place in delhi which is my favourite. actually mai aaj shagun ko lekar jane wala the par kyuki wo nhi aarahe tho kyo tum mere saath chalogi"

"romantic date par??"

"arre baba nahi wo tho dusra tha aur waise bhi mujhe subbu ke haato marna nahi hai"

i slightly chukled at that statement made by him

we reached the place in 15 mins

It was beautiful. It was a lake in the delhi so calm so quiet. it was the kind of place where anyone would want to go for relaxing there mind.

"raman this place is so beautiful"

"i know that why i come here whenever i want peace of mind or whenever i fell lonely"

we sat there i dont know how much time and kept staring at the lake

just then my phone rang

"ek sec raman subbu ka call hai"

"ishita tum ghar pahunchi kya?"

"nahi mai raman ke saath hu "

"wo raman mujhe ghar drop kar raha hai maine kaha tha ki mai chali jaungi par usne meri nahi suni"

"accha kiya jo nahi suna. ghar pahchte hi mujhe call karna ok'

raman dropped me and when i entered my house everyone was asleep even mihika. so i went into my room and messaged subbu that i reached and went to freshen up by the time i came mihika was awake.

"akka aapko kya laga mai jagungi nahi"

"accha baba thik hai"

"thik hai ab mai jab jag hi gae hu tho bata do ki aaj kya hua aaj"

"ussne mujhe propose kiya"

so i had to repeat the whole incident for her and i also included raman's part how we ate dinner together then went to his favorite place.

"akka apko ajeeb nahi laga jab subbu aapko chod kar chala gaya"

"chod kar nahi gaa its just ki he had some work so he left"
