So I was watching DAPGOOSE LA and then I started to cry. I started to cry because I would never meet these two socially awkward nerds irl. Some people think that fangirls (and boys, this is a no shame zone) are crazy. They see us freak out over bands and people. They think that we just obsess over them because of their looks. But one thing is that they don't look deeper into the history of these people or bands. I mean, take PTX for example. They started out in a high school choir room, they do a genre that isn't really appreciated in today's society. But look at them now, they've won two Grammy's, just been nominated for a third one with one of the most iconic country music artist of all time. They have one of the most supportive fanbases out there. If you watched the videos from my last chapter then you will see how much we really love them. Or Dan and Phil, Phil's first video was a one take video from a camera that he won in a cereal promo. Dan was a fan of him, and now they're best friends. They have two books, a single for cancer, a stage show. This is why we admire these people. Not because of their looks, or talent (although that might be part of it) but because of the lessons that they teach us, and how inspirational they can be. So it's just, I'm sad that I can't meet PTX or Dan and Phil irl. Not because I want to see what they look like or sound like live. But because I want to tell them how much of an importation they are to me. They taught me to chase my dreams, see what happens. Now I have amazing friends irl and on this website, because I was myself. Now I'm playing a lead role in a play, because I was myself. So, if you are a hater of any fandom or band, can you just look a little deeper into their lives to see why we obsess over them.
Wow ok, sorry for getting a little to real in this chapter. I just wanted to state my opinion and see if you guys agreed with me!😊
