"Laurence, the kids will be here anytime soon." my mother reminded him as he was wrapping up his work.
"Sorry sweety, just got a call last minute had to work on a file." My father responded as I went over to my mother.
"Lily, what movie will you watch?" she asked.
"Well I wanted to watch a horror movie but then Liam and Luke would be scared. Oh and is Ashton coming?" I asked, I really wanted to watch a horror movie, even though one time after watching The Ring I couldn't watch tv for a while. I was just too scared that a psycho orphan would jump out of the screen to make me his or her mother!
"Alice said that Ashton can't come they were already going to another party. But for Liam and Luke, I was thinking that they could watch a movie in the family room and you older kids can watch whatever horror movie downstairs."
"So Luke, Liam and Jake will watch a movie upstairs?" I laughed and she gave me a closed mouth smile.
"Hey! Guess who crashed the par-tay?!" I heard Trish's voice boom through, all the way to the kitchen. I ran to the front door and attacked her with a hug, Rosy was also there and did the same.
"I thought you would like your friends over." my mother said from behind me.
"I knew that it was a cousin thing but who doesn't love a good horror film?" Rosy said. "And I also brought Daniel.
"Hey!" I hadn't seen him since the fight. "This break just keeps getting better." I said with a bright smile.

LATER IN THE EVENING
"Everyone is here." Lia looked around and confirmed everyone's presence.
"Okay, so Luke and Liam you guys will watch a movie up here and the rest of us will go downstairs." I told them.
"What?! Why can't we watch a scary movie with you guys?" Luke asked.
"Luke, don't try arguing with her, she will end up winning." Liam put his hand on Luke's shoulder.
"Fine." He pouted.
"Trish, Rosy can you guys start popping some corn?" They nodded and chuckled a little before leaving to the kitchen.
I nudged Lia and told her to ask Isabelle if she wanted to come downstairs with us. But Isabelle said that she didn't want to, so I guess she would be upstairs with the boys. Lia gave her our laptop just incase she got bored.
Kyle, Jake, Daniel and Kai went to the basement, Lia and I were making popcorn and taking some drinks with us downstairs. Before going downstairs I set up a movie for the younger one's and gave them their milk and cookies and two bags of chips. I know, weird comboniation.
I made my way downstairs and saw Jake's eyes on the food. "Kyle," I said slowly. "make sure Jake doesn't eat up our food supply." I said non-chalantly, which made him laugh.
"Sure thing." Kyle said.
"The corn has been popped!" Trish announced as she descended from the basement stairs with Rosy trailing behind her.
"Who's that?" Jake ogled over Trish and asked me.
"They are my best friends forever even if the world blows up Trish and Rosy." I pointed as I spoke.
Kyle greeted them both formally by shaking their hands and Jake was having a nervous breakdown. I got closer to Jake and whispered.
"Rosy is taken. Just saying."
