Driving over there, I felt a car following me. I took an alternate way towards there and parked at the Speedway gas station. After getting some snacks and refilling my tank, I sped over to Roman's. Reese was ready to leave until I got inside, explaining everything to them.
"So, you told Will?" Roman said, disappointed.
"Uhhh... yea. He doesn't know who it could be but he knew that I cheated."
"Well, he cheated all the time. He's not completely out of the bush either." Reese said, grabbing her keys.
"I just hope that this doesn't back fire on me."
"You mean us." Roman said, still not looking at me. I tried to analyze his facial expression, but it didn't convey anything. Reese looked at my face and then she tried to break the silence.
"Ok, so if it's not Will who's taunting you, who else would have goons and vengeance against you two?" I couldn't think of no one else but his ex. Serenity. Now. That one is a fighter, so I have to be on my shit with her. She's very attentive and observant once she wants something done or even feels something happening, like a ninja. If anybody gets in her way, she'll have a 'way' with them.
I looked at Roman and he was still looking down, never up at me. I couldn't even tell if he still had bruises on his face. I don't want to pry on him because he's a firecracker as well.
"Uh Roman, what do you think we should do? I mean it's getting more hectic than before-"
"Do what you want to do since you are doing that already." He said, getting up in a very limping way. Reese rolled her eyes and I squinted mine at him.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Soe." He left the kitchen, going towards the stairs. Reese smirked shaking her head at me. We heard his bedroom door slam.
"Oooook, what's his agenda?"
"I just blew up on Will. I cheated on him and all he'll have to do is eliminate all the guys I've been conversing with. He might feel outed by me for not telling him because he would've definitely stopped it before it started." I said, taking out a water bottle.
"Outed? You were going to eventually tell him... and from the looks of things now, William was going to find out anyway. It was better coming from you, anger or not." She grabbed her bag, looking at me.
"Why'd you say that?" I said, looking up at her.
"I mean, me and Juan found out what happen from that person and not by you two. When you told him, it gave this predator no power to tell the most eminent person of the situation," I thought about what she said. She hugged me. "But then there's Serenity."
"Oh fuck." She chuckled with me.
"It's alright love. This person is going down."
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to do some of my own research on this person. It's time to put that tech summer camp skills to the test." She waved goodbye and left Roman's house. She's right. Once I told Will, a weight was lifted off my chest. I wanted to tell him, but I was afraid of how he would react towards it. Surprisingly, he was prudent.
