 •Maya•

I woke up and looked at the tall buildings surrounding me. Where am I? Who's the girl sleeping next to me?

And then it hit me. I ran away last night and met Rachel. I sighed and picked up my phone. Dead - of course.

"Here, have $5. It's all I have I'm sorry." A young boy came up to me with a smile.

"No, no keep your money." I insisted.

"No you need it more than I do." He spoke and left before I could give it back to him.

"Morning." Rachel mumbled.

"Here." I smiled and gave her the $5. "A boy gave it to me and you need this not me."

"Thank you but I'm not really into begging and taking other people's money."

"He gave it to me and wouldn't take no for an answer. Take it. Please."

"Fine. It'll buy Ollie some medicine." She smiled.

"Right. Let's go buy some breakfast and then we'll go to a pharmacy and get Ollie some medicine."

"You don't need to buy us breakfast Maya, really. You were kind enough to let us share your blanket." Rachel smiled.

"No, I don't need to. But I want to. Take it as a thank you for keeping me company last night." I smiled.

Rachel nodded and gently nudged Ollie who broke out into a coughing fit. She helped Ollie up and wrapped her arms around him helping him walk.

"Maya's going to buy us some breakfast buddy." Rachel smild at Ollie.

"Really? Thank you Maya!" Ollie smiled happily.

When they sat down at the cafe Ollie and Rachel only ordered a small meal. I knew they were hungrier than that so I ordered more food and we had a small feast.

"Maya you didn't have to buy all of this food." Rachel smiled guiltily.

"Hey, I know you're hungry and I have the cash. It's my pleasure." I smiled. I got up to ask the manager if I could borrow a plug to charge my phone. She let me keep it behind the counter while we ate.

"Ollie, eat up. Maya's bought us all this food." Rachel nudged him.

"But I don't feel well." Ollie moaned clutching his stomach.

"Don't worry about it. I'll ask them to box the spares up for you. We better get going, Ollie needs the medicine." I said calling the waitress over to box up the food.

"Maya. Thank you." Rachel smiled.

"Trust me if I could I would give you a home and unlimited supplies of food and healthcare. You deserve it. Every one does," I sighed thinking of all the people out there I couldn't help. "But since I can 't, I want to do what I can and give you something that lasts forever, friendship."

I gave Rachel a large smile which she returned. I felt like I had known this girl forever. She didn't deserve to be on the streets. When the waitress came back with all the food she handed me my now fully charged phone.

"Thanks." I smiled handing her the money for the food and a large tip.

I grabbed the boxes and Rachel's hand and we walked out towards the pharmacy. While we were waiting for Ollie's medicine I checked my phone to see it had been blown up. But one message stood out.

Maya. Come home. I love you and I'm sorry. You're my sister and you always will be. Lucas is going out of his mind with worry. This is my fault and I know it is but if you don't come home right now I swear I will hunt you down and drag you home back to your life. I love you Peaches. - Riles

I need to call Shawn.

SOO, I know this has taken me an insanely long time to actually update. Like I was writing when Season 3 was on and now it's over and GMW is never coming back. However, Peaches and Riles will live on through my book and in my memory. I fully aspire to finish this  book and I now have 3 months to write for you. Ya girl has finally finished her first year of college and has come out with Distincitons in all 9 units (which is A's for those who don't do BTEC) which is why I was so busy doing my assignments. So now I have the time to update for you. I hope you liked this chapter! I know it's short but its sweet.
