"Maya." Topanga says suprised as she walks into Riley's room to put clothes away. "What are you doing here?" She asks. 

She takes a seat next to me and pulls me into a much needed hug. I begin to sob once again, full of guilt and regret.

"I-I-I" I stuttered. I was afraid of what was going to happen after I told her that I broke her daughter. "I kissed Lucas." I finally muttered out hoping she heard so I didn't have to admit it again.

"Oh." She mumbled. She pulled back from the hug and put her arms on my shoulders.

I knew it. She hated me. She was the closest thing I had to a mother and she was leaving me like everyone else did. 

"Listen to me. You're going to fall in love. Riley is going to fall in love. Sometimes it's going to be with different guys who are the polar opposite to eachother, sometimes they're going to be the same. You can't help who you fall in love with. If you feel something, it can't be helped." She said looking into my big blue eyes.

"Riley hates me." I muttered and my face crumpled up once again whilst I cried.

"She doesn't hate you Maya. She could never hate you. She's just upset and hurt. She needs time okay?" Topanga said smiling at me. I just nodded and got up to leave.

"Bye." I said quietly and crawled out the window despite her efforts to try and make me stay.

I stood at the bottom of the fire escape for a while. Just thinking. Thinking about Riley: about our friendship. About Farkle and the lack of our friendship as he sides with Riley. About Lucas: about that life-changing kiss.

I let a tear fall before wiping it away and walking towards the park we grew up in. I sat on a swing and let myself feel free for a while. I came to a stop and swang softly with my feet on the ground. I looked at my hands. The hands that were on Lucas' chest. 

"Thought I might find you here." I heard a voice speak. The person took the swing next to mine. I looked into his eyes.

"Didn't think you'd still talk to me." I spoke softly and then looked back at the ground.

"Maya you're one of my best friends. Don't get me wrong I'm pissed that you hurt Riley but I can see that you're hurting too and if I let you suffer then I'm not a good friend." 

"Farkle. I know how you feel about her. Why are you sat with me when she's hurting?" I asked confused.

"Because you're hurting too!" Farkle said and put his hand under my chin and made me look into his eyes.

"I deserve to be hurting! I hurt my best friend." I spoke getting angrier and angrier with myself. "Why are you even here Farkle? What were you thinking?" 

"I was thinking I could make my best friends be friends again." He smiled.

"I don't deserve her as a friend Farkle." I spoke. "I don't deserve any of you." 

"Yes you do!" Farkle sighed and stood up. 

"You shouldn't even be here!" I shouted at him.

"But I am." He whispered.

"Farkle just leave. Go away." I said. I couldn't be reminded of my mistake anymore. "I want to be alone."

"No you don't!" He shouted.

"I do Farkle! I really fucking do! Now can you leave before I do something to hurt you too!" I shouted getting angrier.

"Fine." He spoke, starting to walk away. "But if you continue to push me away I will leave. You can't treat your friends like this."

"I love him!" I shouted.

"You hurt your best friend. Don't you love her too?" Farkle said and walked away.

I screamed. I screamed until some kid told me to shut up. I didn't know what to do with myself anymore but one thing was running around my head in circles.

Don't you love her too?

So this is incredibly shit but oh well. Did you all watch Upstate? If you didn't spoilers lmao.

I'M SO HAPPY SHAUN PROPOSED HOLY FUCK. I CRIED. I SOBBED MY LITTLE HEART OUT. 

Also with this whole Maya said he picked Riley thing don't lose hope. YOU COULD SEE HOW DISAPPOINTED HE WAS. THAT WASN'T HIS CHOICE. ALSO HE ASKED HER WHAT SHE WANTED TO DO. HE WOULDN'T DO THAT IF HE HAD PICKED RILEY. LUCAYA LIVES ON. 

I really think bc Josh is coming back idk if it's in True Maya or Ski Lodge, Maya will get on with Josh and Rucas will happen but then there will be that plot twist and BAM Lucaya lives. Idk I'm just hella excited for the next 3 episodes bye.
