"Gee, its really cold out. I wish boss would let me do this in the summer", he said. As he walked to the big house the snow crunched under his feet. A big cold wind started to blow as he kept walking. The house had a big black gate around it. It was one of those houses that had rich people staying in it.
The house was two stories high and had a huge garden in the front yard. As he walked towards the gate there was a button to push to talk to the dude that lived there. He pressed it. After a while and a deep voice spoke. " What do u want", he said rather mean. " Im Gandor, all I wanted was to meet you", he said.
"Fine but make it short".
He started to walk when the gate opened. "Wow this is a neat garden", Gandor said. He finally got to the front door and knocked. The guy answered it. "So, what do you..." he stoped and looked at Gandor like he knew him.
"Yes, you know me I had to change my name because there are mages after me" Gandor said. "Michael I need a place to stay".
"Well my daughter...", Michael said.
"Crystal doesn't have to know who I truly am", Gandor said. "Have you told her about the mages".
"No and I would like to keep it that way", He said.
"Ok then I'll just be an old friend. My new name will be...Albert, yeah I will be Albert".
"Ok, be quiet my wife and daughter is asleep", Michael said. Michael and Albert walked inside.
"Come with me and I will show you your room", Michael said. They walked up some spiral stairs and turned left into a long hallway.
"I got to say Michael, this is a nice place", Albert said.
"Thanks, it is pretty nice. Just wait till you see the library", he said. They kept walking till the got to the end of the hallway.
"This will be your room. Just go down the hall and turn right if you need anything", Michael said.
"Ok, thanks for everything", Albert said. Michael started down the hallway as Albert went in his room. It was a small room with hard wood floors. The bed was a twin size bed with puppy's all over the sheets.
"Well I might as well go to bed", he said quietly. Then he slipped under the covers and fell into a deep slumber.
