It's been two years, and I'm finally adding an author's note.
Welcome to a jauntily imaginative piece of fanfiction that sprang from an idea in my fifteen-year-old head. Personally speaking, the concept this story is built around is nearly enough now to make me facepalm myself, but if the reads and votes, which have not ceased to stack since the completion of this story, hold any meaning, Wattpad apparently likes this story. I don't know why, but that seems to be the case. That's the one thing that has led to me keeping this story up as long as I have, even while I've moved on through fandoms and new realms of fiction in other areas of writing.

Needless to say, this story is a first draft written by a teen who, at the time, was very awkward, new to Wattpad, and extremely Hunger Games obsessed. It is in some serious need of revamping, but yours truly is currently swamped by many other projects and doesn't have time to invest in revising this story. Still, the feedback I've collected from numerous readers is generally positive, which means it at least provides enjoyment to you guys, and I suppose that's all that really matters, isn't it? After all, it's fanfiction! How professional is any of this really?

Remember that I had just turned fifteen when I began this story, and even though that may not sound especially young to many of you, trust me when I say I have come a long way since then. (While we're at it, thanks everyone for helping me reach 400 followers!)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this story! The plot focuses around the District 2 tributes Cato and Clove, following a major twist in the original story. The original Hunger Games series belongs to Suzanne Collins; this is just a fanfiction.
