Ch3:Bending

*two weeks later*

Ever since Koha met Mako and Bolin he has glue himself to either one of them. Chief Beifong had even given Mako permission to have Kohaku with him while working, except in extremely dangerous situations.

At the moment, they were at the Police Station, Mako was doing paperwork and Koha sat, bored out of his mind, in his own chair next to Mako's desk. Currently, he was wearing an off-white long sleeve t-shirt, tan pants, dark brown shoes, and off-white bracelet.

"Come one, Mako!" Whined Koha, tapping the man's arm; "I'm bored, can't we do something!?"

"No Koha... I'm busy. I have a lot of things to do.." Mako said, not looking up once from his paperwork.

Koha replied with a "B-But.." Then sighed, and got up and walked towards the door.

With this action, Mako finally looked up and asked,
"Where are you going..?"

"I'm going back to the island to find out what Bolin is up to.. Maybe it will be more fun than here.." Koha replied, walking out the door before Mako could say anything.

*On way to island*

Koha was skipping down the road not paying attention to anything around him, like usual,
When he was hit by a large wind coming from a shop he passed by, making him stumble into the street, He tried to balance himself but failed as he hit the road with SMACK.

He groaned as he sat up, his shirt and pants were scraped up and had a newly made blood stains on his left sleeve and both knees.

As he saw the blood, be tried not to let any tears fall but to no avail, they fell down his face.

He got up, gritting his teeth in pain as his knees rubbed against his pants and stung. His arm felt broken as his tried to move it, he would feel dizzy.

As he slowly limped off the street, a large BEEP got his attention. He was in the middle of the street and a car was moving towards him with a large amount of speed.

He quickly moved his arms in front of his chest and closed his eyes. As the car got close enough where it could hit him within seconds, he felt his hands warm up. He opened his eyes and saw that he was indeed firebending, using it to push the car back.

He stops his fire after making sure the car had stopped, he slowly move out of the road when the driver of the car was yelling at him to stay out the road and started up their car and drove away.

He successfully got to the sidewalk and thought of what was closer to him at the moment. After a minute, he decided to got the island since it was the closes and where he was going in the first place.

*At the island*

He had finally got to the island when he saw Bumi running up to the temple yelling something about bending and decided that he would keep the mishap to himself

Ikki came up to him and asked something and then yelled for Tenzan to come.

Tenzan ran out followed by multiple people. After finding that Bumi was having another fantasy, they all started to walk back inside.

Koha was walking up the steps quietly, trying not to be noticed when he slipping on a step and fell onto the floor in a grunt, gaining everyone's attention.

"Koha! When did you get here?" Bumi asked walking up to him, failing to notice his bloodstained clothes.

"I-I got here j-just now.." Koha replied weakly, trying not to cry from the pain of falling once more.

"What happened to your arm?!" Asked Tenzan, fast walking up to him and helping him up.

"I fell down.." Koha said sniffling, wiping his tears away with his right hand.

Pema came up to me, followed by Kya, saying "come one sweetie.. Let's fix you up." Ushering me inside.

*at dinner*

Koha sat next to Bolin, he had a change of clothes and bandages were placed on all his scrapes and had a brace on his left arm, since he had refused to be healed with water-bending.

Bumi was still going on about Airbending when Korra came in and sat down next to Koha, followed by Asami.

Bolin and Korra started to talk about what was going on at the table and how Mako staying at the station.

"Oh hey, Koha I didn't see you there.." Korra said, looking down at the small blonde sitting next to her

"Hey Korra.." Koha replied quietly, look up at Korra for a second before moving his food around with his chopsticks.

"What happens to you?" Asked Korra, noticing Kohaku's bandages and brace.

"He said he tripped and fell.." Bolin answered, ruffling Koha's hair playfully; "he scraped his knee pretty bad and sprained his wrist."

"Maybe I can only airbend when I'm in danger! Bolin! Throw a giant boulder at me!" Bumi yelled, get the attention of everyone.

"Uh... I don't think that's a good idea.." Bolin said, looking at Bumi.

The table became very loud and uncomfortable so, Koha got up and started to walk out.

"Look alive Uncle Bumi!" Meelo yells, throwing two small plates, one aimed and the other angled slightly.

The one plate was caught by Bumi, who had finally proven that he can airbend while the other headed straight for Koha, whom was facing the other way and leaving the room.

"Koha! Watch out!" Bolin yelled getting up quickly.

After hearing the words of Bolin, he turning around just enough to see a plate flying towards him.
