Why me?

6th year

Yep that's me. I am Elena black, daughter of Sirius black. I am 16 and am in my 6th year as a Ravenclaw. My 2 best friends are Cho Chang and Luna lovegood.
"Hey guys I want to get caught up on some studying... meet you in the dorm?" I whispered to Luna and cho.
"Ele the feast hasn't even started" cho said
" and school doesn't start till tomorrow what's the rush?" Luna asked
"I am not hungry and I just want to get a head start. I'll be in the library if you need me" I said getting up and exiting the great hall before all the sorting began. I curled up in the library with "advanced transfiguration- animals" transfiguration has always been my best subject. I am top of the class in my year in it, and I am so close to being able to turn into my patronus a cat.
~Cedric's pov~
"Aye who's that sitting by loony lovegood and Chang?" Ernie asked
"I don't know. Must be a 6th year" James shrugged. I turned my gaze to the girl in between Luna and cho. She was amazingly stunning. Her brown eyes, long brown almost black mixed with some red hair, her smile. She was truly beautiful. I followed her figure as she walked out of the great hall before the feast has even begun. Who is this girl?Soon all of the little first years entered the hall. I zoned out for all of the sorting ceremony. When you hit your 7th year you just don't care anymore.
"Woah did you hear that!" Ernie yelled snapping me out of my daze
"What just happened?" I whispered to Jackson
"Hogwarts is hosting the tri wizard tournament this year" he smiled
"Wicked!" I smiled.
"Ced you have to enter!" James yelled
"Uh I don't know guys" I laughed
"Oh come on Cedric you would totally win!" Ernie yelled
"He's right mate you would" Jackson said taking a drink of his pumpkin juice.
"We will see" I said ending the conversation.
"Well I am going to take a walk fellas... see you in the common room." I said waving goodbye to my friends and walking out of the hall. My mind drifted to the tournament. Were they right? Could I really win? I mean yes it would give my very under appreciated house some recognition and glory. But I have heard how dangerous this tournament is. Some wizards have even died. I would have no idea what I would be getting myself into, yet that could be quite fun. But girls will be all over me, more than usual. They will want to be with the hogwarts champion. But it could give me a chance to find out who that girl is. But what is I did die, what would happen to my dad? It's a huge risk, but a little risk never hurt anybody. I thought as I walked past the library, but something caught my eye. A figure sat at a table consumed in a book. I stepped closer to the glass and realized it was her, it was the girl. Wow she is a true ravenclaw. I noticed she was reading about how to transform into a animal, way beyond talents of a 6th yet alone 7th year. I watched as she twirled her hair and bit her lip, completely focused. I smiled at the fact of how beautiful she is.
"In excuse me?" I quiet voice came. I looked down and saw cho Chang and Luna lovegood approaching me
"Can I help you?" Cho asked. She was sitting with them in the hall, they must be friends
"Yeah... who's that girl?" I asked pointing to her
"Oh that's Elena black" Luna said... Elena huh
" is she...?" I asked but I think they got the hint
"Yeah she is. But she isn't dangerous" cho said
" didn't think she was" I smiled
"Transfiguration?" I asked
"Yeah she is advanced" cho said
"7th year?" I asked
"6th" Luna smiled
"But she is... well, more advanced" cho said.
"Elena" I whispered
"Cedric! There you are! Come on!" James yelled from down the corridor. I took one last look at Elena and headed back to my friends.
"What were you doing talking to those 6th years?" Ernie asked
"Just asking them about something" I smiled at the fact I have found my mystery girl... Elena Black.
~Elena's pov~
"Elena!" Luna said running into the library
"Cedric diggory just asked us who you were... he was totally checking you out" cho winked
"Cedric diggory saw me geeking out!?" I asked. Great the cutest guy in school thinks I am a nerd
"Yeah and he seemed very interested" Luna smiled as I pushed past the doors
"No luna he isn't" I sighed
"Um yes Ele he is. You didn't see him" cho said
"What would a 7th year Hufflepuff quidditch captain, and seeker, and the prettiest boy in school want to do with me?" I asked as we reached the ravenclaw tower.
"What is black and white and read all over?" The portrait asked
"A news paper... really?" I asked as it swung open... too easy.
"I don't know but at least consider the fact maybe he wants to get to know you" cho said
"Doubt it" I laughed
