Miss Oblivious

CHAPTER 5

"Wake up!!! Amber WAKE UP!!!!!" I heard someone screaming, while shaking me hard. "Come on, Amber you have to wake up!!!"

"Noooooo! I want to sleep, leave me alone!" I opened my eyes for a bit and saw Marshal, I smacked his hands away from me and rolled over.

"Alright, I'll just tell your friends that you're still asleep." He then went up and left my room. Yes, some peace and quiet... WAIT WHAT?!

"WHAT?!" I screeched and ran out towards the living room, almost slipping down the stairs. "MY FRIENDS ARE HERE?!"

The moment I said that, everybody in the room was looking at me, and by everyone I mean my parents, my two annoying younger brothers and the whole squad. I looked over at Marshal who smiled mischievously.

"Amber, good you're awake. Your friends are here to ask how you are and asked us if it was okay for you to join them out." Dad said looking at me, I faked a smile and nodded.

"Amber! You didn't change at all from yesterday!" Mom scolded me, I looked down and blushed.

"Um, I-I'm going to change, soooo wait a moment!" I shouted and ran back to my room to change. In the distance I heard everybody laugh a bit. Most especially Anne and Neville.

I immediately changed into my favourite black jeggings, red hoodie and my favourite black vans, then proceeds to tie my hair in a messy braid. Afterwards I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. WHY DOES THESE THINGS KEEP ON HAPPENING TO ME?!! After everything I ran back downstairs and that's the moment where I finally slipped.

"OUCH!!" I exclaimed, and sat up. Kelsie went to me and helped me up. "Thank you Boo."

"Amber! Look at that you've gotten yourself hurt again tsk tsk. Be careful!" Mom scolded me again, while my two younger brothers kept laughing. Mom then proceeds to give both of them a stern look which makes them shut up. "Marshal! Allan! Apologize to your sister."

"Sorry mom. Sorry Amber." They said bowing their heads at me.

"It's alright." I said and sat down together with Janelle and Macy, I looked at Janelle and smiled. She looked back and smiled for a bit and looked down. Something is definitely wrong. "Alright I guess we can go now bye mom. Bye dad. Bye bros."

"Okay Amber, take care and don't come home late okay?" Dad said and gave me some cash, then hugged me.

"Wait Amber, won't you eat breakfast first?" Mom asked and hugged me.

"Oh its fine ma'am, we all agreed to eat breakfast together." Raziel said smiling at my mom.

"Oh dear, just call me Evelyn and my husband Nicolas." Raziel smiled and nodded, my mom looked at him for a bit and smiled. "I don't think I've met you before."

"I am Raziel Grasseli, ma- I mean Evelyn." Raziel replied and mom nodded, mom then looked at me and gave me a mischievous smile and winked. What the freak was that? What's the smile supposed to mean!?

My mom gushed and gave Raziel a big hug, he stiffened for a bit and hugged back. Mom let go first and smiled at Raziel brightly and pat his back.

"It is very nice to meet you Raziel, well I guess every one of you would want to leave already. So have fun and don't hit anymore poles Amber." Mom said, I groaned a bit and hid my face.

"That was one time mom! That won't happen again. So bye bye!" I then pushed everyone out of my house and shut the door. I let out a sigh and saw everyone look at me amused. "What?!"

They just shrugged and still kept that expression. I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the diner with Janelle which is like a few minute walk. I looked at Janelle and she still gave off an aura that tells me something is definitely wrong.
