Miss Oblivious

CHAPTER 7

Noooooooo! Exam week is coming up and I'm physically and mentally not ready for this!! I mean no more watching anime and reading manga, no more fangirling!! Just studying things we may or may not just forget afterwards huhuhu. So now the squad are having a group study in my house. Pretty much, I'm not the one suggesting that we should do it on my house but we decided on the spot and I can't do anything about it.

"I DON'T WANT TO HAVE EXAMS!!!" I screamed and plopped my head on the table. I can't do this anymore, I'm reading the same paragraph for minutes now and sneakily use my phone from time to time.

"Well we can't do anything about it Ames." Mandy said reading science. "Exams are there to know if we truly understood the lesson." How can Mandy survive this torture?! I can't even last an hour and I'll be dead already. Sigh.

"But what if the teacher stinks at teaching and we don't understand a thing that comes out of their mouth??? Like he/she spent 80% of the time storytelling about their lives and I don't even give freak about them! Huh?! It's not our fault they stink at their job." I grumbled looking at all the papers, hand-outs and books scattered at the table. Well, this is going to suck.

"Well we can't do anything about that, we just have to learn it ourselves." Raziel said getting a cookie, well mom came by for a bit and baked us cookies as snacks while we're studying. I rolled my eyes at him while gripping my book that is held on my hands. Why do we have to learn some algebra shiz? Do I need it in my real life? Shucks, I'm not going to take up engineering in college for Christ's sake!

"Raz is right, Ames." Anne said with a fake glasses placed on top of her nose. I pouted but quickly snapped my head at her. I pointed at her while shrieking, "Since when did you got here!? What the freak, I didn't see you there!"

Anne grabbed one of the chips and quickly munched some of it. "I got here a while ago. You didn't notice me because you were sulking, so..." She continued popping some chips to her mouth and sassily read the book she was reading.

Someone then poke my side which made me let out a loud shriek. That made Raziel let go of the water bottle he was shaking. Keslie let out a giggle and said, "Got you!"

I whined at her, "Really, Keslie? Look what happened to Raziel, his bottle flew towards Mandy." She didn't listen to me and kept on giggling. "Mandy are you okay?!"

"I'm fine Ames, I wasn't hit that hard, and don't worry so much about it Raz. It wasn't your fault." Mandy replied and gave Raziel a smile.

"Alright guys!! As much as I want to just slack off and do absolutely nothing we have to study okay?! So let's focus shall we!" Annie exclaimed and glared at all of us.

"Yeah you go babe!" Neville said and hugged Annie, all of us rolled our eyes and listened to Annie.

I don't want to say all the details of what has happened in the exam so how's about I just summarize it okay? So everybody has finished taking all of the exams and today is the day where we get the results of all our subjects and let me just say I'm a nervous wreck.

I was shaking and taking deep breathes while waiting for the results to be hand in. it seems that Raziel noticed my nervousness and pat my shoulder, giving me a reassured smile. That made me smile a bit, but you know I don't really know how I'll do!!! I mean in our science exam there were a lot of confusing questions!!!

"Miss Fernandez!" Our advisor Miss Lindsay called, I screamed internally while I was walking towards her. I looked back at my friends and they all gave me a thumbs up. "Congratulations Miss Fernandez you passed all your subjects and nothing below the line of eight."

She then handed me my report card, I widened my eyes at my grades. I looked at Miss Lindsay and back at my card I then squealed loudly and hugged my report card. When I stopped everyone was looking at me weirdly, I looked at everyone and said sorry.
