ethan and i texted often, he would always text me when i woke up with something like "good morning, princess," he made sure i got a similar text every night before i fell asleep.
every once in a while, ethan would call me just because he "misses my voice." it was adorable. although it honestly felt odd, getting so close to a guy this fast. i felt safe near ethan, and just hearing his voice can drive me crazy.
ethan♡
–whatcha up to princess?
nothing really–
i'm so bored––how about we go on a walk or something
–anything you wanta walk sounds nice–
–perfect
–i'll be there in 15? okay?yep, see u then–
i smiled at my phone like an idiot, reading over his texts. i quickly text him my address before changing and slipping on my vans then waiting patiently for him.
i hear a knock at my door and excitedly got up to get it. i opened the door to ethan, his lips curling into a big smile as he sees me. i can feel my cheeks heat up and almost immediately look down.
i hear a faint chuckle tumble past his lips and i open the door wider so he could walk in.
"well, aren't you looking adorable today, elle."
i blushed again, starting to feel embarrassed by how easily he could make me my cheeks turn a bright red color. i mumbled out a thank you as he walked into my house.
"well, we could go to the park to walk around for a bit. unless you wanna go somewhere else." i shrug.
"no, the park sounds great." he smiles.
he smiles so often, his lips curve up into a cute little grin, and his dimples appear slightly. it always made me smile. he's so sweet and soft, unlike his appearance.
at first glance, he's more intimidating then anything. the tattoos that covered his arms and the slightly faded red streak in his hair gave him a sort of "bad boy" look.
ethan holds his hand out and i hesitantly take it in mine as he guides me outside to his car. he gently lets go of my hand to open the passenger door for me. i thanked him quietly and he nodded before walking over to the passenger side.
the drive was filled with comfortable silence, besides the radio playing softly. his arm was wrapped loosely around my seat.
"my brother and i used to come here all the time." he laughs, breaking the silence as we pull up to the park.
"you never told me you had a brother." i furrowed my eyebrows.
"you never asked." he shrugs.
i roll my eyes playfully and open the car door, climbing out, as ethan does the same.
"can i meet him?" i ask curiously.
"i guess you could one day, and he's my twin." he chuckles and wraps his arm around my waist.
"woah, really?"
"we hardly look alike anymore, though." he lets out a small laugh.
i hum in response before we walk to the trail that circled the entire park. the playgrounds and ponds were within the trail. my foot kicked small rocks along as we walked around the park, his arm never leaving my waist.
we talked about whatever popped into our heads, enjoying each other's company.
