i wake up with ethan's arms wrapped around me, keeping me warm and making me feel safe.
i pull his arms off of me gently so i wouldn't wake him. i smile as i climb over him and place my legs on each side of him, my knees digging into my bed as i straddled him.
my hands rest on his chest and i press gentle kisses to the soft skin before lying my head down, snuggling into the crook of his neck.
"morning, princess."
"morning." i kiss his neck, my cheeks turning a light pick color.
i sit up and rest my hands on his stomach, straddling him again and watching him as he rubs his eyes tiredly.
he smiles up at me and places his hands on my waist, leaning in the press a long kiss to my lips.
my hands wrap around his neck as i'm pulled closer to him, my fingers getting tangled in the hair at the nape of his neck.
we both pull away and i hide my face in his warm chest, knowing my lips are probably swollen and red.
he chuckles and kisses my forehead, picking me up and holding me in his arms, making me laugh quietly.
"what's for breakfast, my princess?" he asks as he grins down at me and i shrug, making him laugh as he kisses my forehead.
we get down to my kitchen and he places me down on the smooth surface of my counter.
i begin tracing the tattoos that were scattered along him arms, making him smile down at me.
the tip of my finger traces along the beautiful roses tattooed onto his lower arm that happened to be ethan and i's favorite.
