Episode 9: Part 1- A friend or a Servant

     Dice's castle had a lot of rooms but one of the biggest of the bedrooms is none only than his son, Prince Don's, it was the size of an aquarium at Sea Park. It stored a vast variety of weapons and armor, which could be used by a whole regiment; in the front of the tall window were four red stained glass structures that looked similar to triangular pillars except for the hooked front of it. Next to it were two knights with custom swords only able to be found among nobles, across the room was a broken gatling gun that held two swords; one of the two held a cursed blade that turned into a mirror. Also a spiked, but beautifully architected overhang that was made out of staves; a small white and gold statue that stood out in the dark room. Additionally there was a strange chest that was placed directly in the center of the black room, decorated with touches of silver and gold but mainly black or shades of grey. Right at the end of the room was a king sized bed although, it wasn't stylish for the only thing interesting about it was how black the bed sheets were and the legs, appearing like flowing lava, but there was no headrest attached to the bed.The room seemed as though it was designed by Lucifer himself

     Neatly tucked in the bed was an exhausted 12 year old. Being very sculptured, with oversized arms and his height being 6' 2" he could be mistaken as somebody older. But his legs were skinny, kind of like Egg Person from Sanic. He wore his usual outfit, even though he was asleep, except somebody took his stash and coat off. A worried maid approached frantically with breakfast and slowly touched Don's head not too hard but soft enough to wake him up and his (now Gold) eyes widened with a calm and reassuring warm smile on his face, though he was half asleep. His expression shows that he had no memory of the previous day.

Bellonda- Wake up prince, I prepared your food and your clothing, and I will be leaving you to your peace now.

Don - What happened, what happened yesterday? Why are you so worried Yiips?

Bellonda - You don't remember anything?

Don- No... was there something important I missed?

Bellonda- You weren't "normal" that's all I can say, prince...

Don- Yiips, are you a friend or a servant.

Bellonda- A servant, forgive me princ...

Don slowly got up to his full height and his eyes turned red in anger, but also flickered gold; the servant knowing that red stood for anger immediately backed up slowly, but she had never encountered when it flickered gold, so she stood where she was.

Demyx - No... NO! Please, for the love of God, don't ever say that again. You're my friend... best at that. Don't ever call me Prince, for I am not worthy of that title, no matter what happens you are always important as a friend. Call me what you used to, for I miss the old times, the times with my brother. I never wanted this for you, I never wanted this for anybody, especially not you. You have nothing to forgive.

Don then leans down to her height and gives an embracing hug and they both cry a little. then he then looked directly into Belonda's eyes and both of their faces were so close, they could feel each other's breath. Bellonda looks down on the floor.

Demyx- Look into my eyes Belonda, do I really look like a bad person to you? do you see anything strange, dark or even frightening to you? Be honest with me, what do you see?...

Belonda- ... I see the eyes of a little boy that lost everything when he had everything, who lost hope for this kingdom, who saw his own cousin kill him. I see the eyes...

Demyx- What is it?

Belonda- ...Of a little boy losing the thing he loves the most.
