Dominic's POV (Las Vegas moment)
I entered the quiet place filled with people in suits in roaming around with their brief case and a whiskey in hand. A beautiful Asian women walked up to me with a smile.
"Sir Dominic your father is in the VIP room if you could come with me and I'll show you" She smiled brightly.
"My old man really likes spending time with people who wears ties" I rolled my eyes.
I remember him saying the most dangerous criminals aren't people with tattoos it's the people who wear ties. I couldn't agree more. It's like the devil walking on earth and my father has the biggest horns.
I enter the room with red lether chairs with a glossy marble floor and crystal glass everywhere displayed in the room. My eyes landed on the blonde hair that was on my sight. My dad spin stood up sensing me in the room and turned around with a smile on his face.
He stood infront of me tall wearing his expensive suit his blonde hair styled neatly back his pale blue eyes seem to look colourless then the last time I saw him. He still looks like the smug bastard I lived with.
"Son how lovely to finally be with you" He opened his arms as if waiting for me to return his fake kindness.
"Please father lets save your fake kindness it doesn't suit you" I moved to the mini bar.
"What are you talking about? You are my son after all" He grinned coming closer to me. "Family is family am I right Dominic?"
"Sure" I grunt. "I'll try keep that in mind when you try break my neck or lock me in a prison next time" I poured whiskey in the crystal glass.
"Good and I'll keep it in my mind when you try to stake me next time" He winked. Old man always with the jokes.
"So how is my precious Jessy?"
The mention of her name made me frown hating lying to her face and playing around with her. The moment we met in the lab room I couldn't help myself from not touching her. I can remember when Lincoln told me he has a project for me. I couldn't careless and I should've turn him down but when he mention that I get to spend time with Jessy I don't know what got into me to say yes. Usually I would turn him down straight away.
He told me to keep an eye on her and to get her to trust me. In the beginning it was such a hard job to get her to trust me. Even now she doesn't even trust me she is too stubborn for her own good. In a few weeks I would have to report back to Lincoln about her progress and what she's up to.
He already knew she was responsible for the killings of vampires recently he was actually so proud but I can see the anger in his eyes. Jessy has killed a lot of very powerful vampire and Lincoln needs them in the future.
"She's an angel as usual" I said sarcastically.
"Does she trust you yet?" He sat down on the couch.
"No"
"I don't think that really matters she will eventually" He sighed twirling his glass looking at me amused. "For now tell me what she's planning with me?"
I sat across him and look at him flatly. We certainly don't look a like we are both opposites really. I had dark hair while he has light blonde hair almost white, I have tan skin and he has a very pale skin that suits his light eyes. My bone structure is more defined with a more square jaw and high cheekbones.
