Chapter 3

(MAT POV)

I walked over to Claire, put my arm around my shorter sis, and went to the door. I opened it to see my buds Rob, Mitch, and Noah. I felt Claire freeze, I looked down at her to see her staring at the guys. She must just be shy. I introduced them all, "hey Rob, Mitch, Noah this is my girlfriend Claire. Claire this is the guys, they also have youtube accounts like me". I leaned down and kissed her in her hair. She looked up at me with her fake girlfriend smile, 'thank goodness, I thought she was gonna wimp out on me'. I looked up at the guys, they were staring at me in shock especially Noah.

"Well geez guys, it's like you are scared of Claire. Just come on in" I said hoping to break this awkward moment. I turned and walked off to the living room with the guys following me and Claire by my side. I heard Noah whispering to Mitch about something, it sounded like he said, "dood, the hat". I brushed it off thinking it was just my imagination.

"Well doods, what are your youtube account names. I might know them" Claire stated.

"BajanCanadian" Mitch said.

"Mr.Woofless" Rob stated.

"I'm NoahCraftFTW" Noah whispered

"Well guys , what do you think of my apartment?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"It's nice Mat, just a little big don't you think?" Mitch replied.

"Well that's why I got Claire here" I remarked while hugging her a little tighter. This was perfect, everything was going according to plan.Claire was really playing along, she put her head up and kissed my cheek and then hugged my chest. Wow, she was getting good at this, well practice makes perfect.

(NOAH POV)

DID I JUST SEE THAT RIGHT?! She just kissed him on the cheek. I thought she liked me! Guess not especially since she has a BOYFRIEND! She lied to my face, even about HER OWN NAME! I couldn't take it no more, I got up and asked, " Where's the bathroom?". My voice cracked at the end as I rushed off to where Mat said it was. UGHHHH. WHY DID SHE PLAY ME LIKE THAT?! Tears started forming in my eyes, I liked her a lot, even if I just met her. Then I hear a knock on the door and saw the door open.

(CLAIRE POV)

Woah, did Noah rush off because of me? I feel really bad now.

Mat says, "I'm gonna go check on him". I let him get up, but before he does I tell him, "I think we should tell them now". He nods and leaves while I still sit on the couch. I watch Mat go and look back at Mitch and Rob.

"How could you?!" Mitch said to me in an angered whisper.

"What did I do?" I said in and innocent tone, trying to play it off even though I felt horrible.

"You know what you did" Rob said in a cold tone.

"Hey-"I started but was cut off.

"Don't you 'hey' us, you were flirting with Noah when you already had a boyfriend!"Mitch scolded.

"I DONT HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" I almost screamed.

"Then why were you KISSING Mat, and why did Mat call you his GIRLFRIEND!" Rob yelled.

"whore" Mitch muttered. This hit me hard, and I just wanted to tell them the truth.

"Just let me explain" I said.

"OH I WANNA HEAR THIS" Mitch said sarcastically.

" OH WILL YOU PLEASE JUST SHUT UP", I yelled "Mat is my BROTHER! He said we were going to be playing a prank on his friends! I just didn't know that they were you guys! OK?! I wouldn't have done that if I knew it was gonna be you guys. Now just stop yelling at me, all the yelling is the reason I moved IN with Mat in the first place" By the time I finished with this sentence I started crying. I then pulled my knees up into a ball and put my head down. I hated being yelled at, absolutely HATED IT!

(MAT POV at same time)

I walked upstairs to our bathroom and knocked on the door. Slowly I opened it to see my best friend crying on the floor.

"Hey buddy, what's wrong?" I asked.

He muttered, "nothing just go away".

"No, I'm not leaving until you come out!"

"You're not gonna give up are you?" he asked.

"Nope, so wipe your tears, come downstairs and we will all talk this out" I answered. I then led him out the door and looked him in the face, "dood, come on, pull it together, it's ok Noah". We started going downstairs to the living room to see Claire curled up crying. I ran over to her, rubbed her back and started yelling, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU TWO DO TO MY SISTER!!! I WAS GONE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND SHE'S BAWLING HER EYES OUT!! YOU GUYS BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION!!"

(MITCH POV)

I told Mat everything that me and Rob said. I felt awful for interrogating her for something she didn't mean to do. I even told Mat about the part with Claire and Noah earlier, but I left out the part about Noah getting mad when he thought Mat and Claire were together. I thought they would look cute together. But he has to ask her out on his own.Mat though, looked furious. Maybe he knew Noah liked his little sis.

(CLAIRE POV)

Wooah. So Noah actually liked me?! 'Wow' was all that I thought. Do I like him back. No. Yes. Maybe a little, but I don't know. That was when I looked over at Mat who was glaring straight at me. What did I do.
