Bucky paced his floor. Bruce was done running the diagnostics on the computer and knew your location. Siberia. Why did it have to be Siberia? Bucky knew how terrible the facility was, and he cringed to think of you being in that terrible place. He looked over at James who sat on the kitchen counter, where Bucky had put him. He wiggled his legs, and Bucky gave him a small smile, but then he thought of you again my he slammed his metal fist against the granite island, smashing it to pieces. It is a good thing that James was behind Bucky, since the room filled with small fragments of the stone. Bucky quickly turned around and sheltered James from the stone fragments. When the dust had settled, he saw that James was perfectly fine except for being a little startled. Bucky sighed and picked James up.
"Sorry, slugger. Papa is just really sad since your mama isn't here." James nodded.
"It ok." Bucky smiled again. "How about I get us some ice cream? Would you like that?" James rabidly nodded his head up and down, squirming to get out of Bucky's arms. "Hey, hold your horses. I didn't mean from up here. We're going to go get some from Uncle Steve's fridge." He took. James' hand in his and led him to the elevator.
In the elevator, James ran around in circles, excited about the prospect of having ice cream. It didn't take much to make James excited. He was just a little ball of energy. When the elevator reached Steve's floor, Bucky picked James up and peaked around the elevator doors to see if Steve was visible. James started giggling, but Bucky shushed him. The coast was clear, so Bucky walked into Steve's living room. He tiptoed as he made sure that Steve wasn't around. When he was finally assured that Steve wasn't there, he took James into the kitchen and opened the freezer. There, sitting on the shelf in front of him was a carton of moose tracks ice cream. He took it out and set James down. He closed the freezer and got two bowls and spoons out of a cabinet. He lifted James up to a chair and dished out the ice cream. They were both soon sitting at the counter eating their ice cream.
After about five minutes of them sitting there, the elevator sounded the arriving of someone on the floor. Bucky stiffened a little and looked over at James who sat happily attempting to feed himself the delicious dairy treat. Bucky shrugged off the nervousness. Anyone could try to shame them about having "stolen" ice cream from Steve, but James' happiness would be a very valid scapegoat.
The person walked closer to the kitchen, and James glanced over at Bucky, ice cream covering his face. Normally, Bucky would wipe the ice cream off, but in this situation, it would aid him. Steve rounded the corner that led him to the kitchen and stopped when he saw Bucky and James.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked.
"James had his little heart set on having some ice cream, so, since we were out, I didn't want to disappoint him by telling him that we didn't have any. So instead, I brought him up here. I didn't think you'd mind. Also, our kitchen island has been smashed to pieces. Looks reminiscent of Banner's work, but alas, it was my own doing. Anyway, it is going to need to be repaired. There are many jagged pieces of stone everywhere along with lots of dust, so I also wanted to bring James down so that he wouldn't have a chance of getting hurt." Steve just nodded his head. Bucky was going to continue, but Steve raised his hand.
"Stop, Buck. It's ok. I don't mind you and James eating my ice cream. You don't need to come up with excuses." Bucky chuckled.
"Thanks, pal, but not all of that was an excuse. The island really is ruined." Steve sighed.
"I'll let Tony know.

Back in Siberia, Nikolai, Clara, and yourself had all been put back into your cells. Shortly after being put back into your cells, you heard Nikolai start talking. You looked over at Clara who was looking over at him (don't forget that Pierce made you and Nikolai switch cells so that it would be more "decent").
"What is he saying, Clara?" you asked.
"Gabe's gone." You were surprised. Where would they have taken him? It was the middle of the night. "He also says that he heard some guards talking about Gabe. Apparently he isn't doing so well. He resisted when the guards were trying to remove him tonight. Apparently they injured him and said something about him paying for what he had done." You gasped.
"I hope he'll be alright."
"Me too. He seems to be a very nice man." You nodded your head. Nikolai started to speak again. "Nik would like to know how you lured the target out of the café earlier." You responded with a small laugh before responding.
"Let's just say, Bucky would have been very jealous about the fact that I was flirting with another man." You smiled and paced around your cell, Bucky taking over your thoughts. You heard Clara telling Nikolai what you had said and heard him laughing in reply. Clara smiled over at you.
"You will see him again, you know. I have known you long enough and heard enough about your husband to know that he won't stop until he gets you home. We weren't going to tell you this, but Nikolai and I made an agreement that, no matter the consequences for us, we are going to help you get home."
"That's sweet, Clara, but there isn't anything you can do. Also, I can't let the two of you risk your lives to get me out." Clara looked down at the floor.
"We aren't being kept here against our will. Not really. We haven't been for a while." You couldn't believe your ears.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I noticed the change first. They have been training us and making us stronger, right? I realized one day that I can remove my restraints if I want to. I could get us all out right now, but without any weapons, we'd all be dead in seconds." You still couldn't believe what you were hearing.
"That can't be. I understand the caution, but I know that we could all take the guards in a fight. Why would you both want to stay here?"Clara sighed.
"We can't risk them hurting you."
"Here is the deal. It is my life. I think that the three of us have the capabilities to take down any guards in out path."
"But, (Y/N),...." Clara tried to protest, but you stopped her.
"No, Clara. Tomorrow night we are escaping. If you two truly do care about me getting home quickly, you will listen to me and follow my plan." Clara gave up arguing because there was no point. You were stubborn, just like Bucky. When a Barnes wants to get their way, others better step aside, because they won't give up without a fight.
