Chapter 13

Our group meeting ended and everyone went back to their rooms to get ready for dinner. I curled my medium length brown hair, put on my favorite vans that were a Leopard. My denim shorts from aero, and a long sleeved black crew neck.

"Woah! You look hot!" Amanda screamed so loud the boys surely heard.

There were loud whoops from the boys room so we all decided to go check on them. We knocked and Carter answered the door.

"Hello ladies! You guys look hot!" he said with a wink.

"What's going on?" Jen asked from behind me.

"Well we wer-"

He didn't get to finish because Aaron came up from behind him and smacked him with what I hoped was shampoo or something.

"OHHHHHHH!!!" Taylor screamed.

"Are you guys even ready?!" I half screamed.

"NOPE!" Cam answered.

"Well you better hurry other wise we're taking Nash and leaving!" Elisa remarked.

"Why just Nash?" Aaron answered obviously jealous.

"Because he's got the money!" Mak replied.

"I've got money too!" Shawn finally spoke.

"Woah didn't think you could talk Shawn!!" I remarked. He just glared at me.

"I'm ready." Aaron came back from wherever he went.

"Finnnnneeeeeee." Taylor whined.

The boys left to go get ready.

-20 minutes later-

Me and the girls just sat on the beds in the boys room until they were all done. The boys honestly took a year to get ready. Aaron was the first one to be done and he came and sat on the bed with me while the other girls sat on the next bed.

"We're gonna' go check on the boys." Elisa stood as Mak followed.

"Be careful, Cam may or may not be naked." Aaron warned.

"Ok we'll be sure to run in and not knock!" Mak winked. And they went into the second half of the room.

"We're gonna go get the bus started!" Amanda whined as Jen followed.

Everyone left and it was just me and Aaron we looked at each other as if agreeing the same thing.

"MATT!" we both screamed

Matt came walking into the room with his wet hair and he was shirtless.

"I was hoping Jen would be in here.." he whined rolling his eyes.

"Speaking of Jen yo-" I tried to talk but Matt cut me off.

"Do you think she'd say yes if I asked her out?" he asked with a little nervousness in his voice.

"YESS!" I screamed.

"Ok then I will!"

-30 mins later-

We got to Buffalo Wild Wings and put our tables together, which was kind of awkward because the place was packed. We did our usual seating. Cam next to Elisa, I was next to Aaron, Matt next to Jen, Mak next to Hayes, Nash next to Hayes, Amanda next to Shawn, Taylor to my left, and Carter to Aaron's right.

We ordered and I started eating then I got a bad feeling in my gut, the kind of feeling you get when something bads about to happen. I looked at the girls and all their mouths were in the shape of an O. I turned around to see my ex... Jason.

"Hello gorgeous!" he winked.

"Uh. Hi Jason." I said standing up to face him. We dated in 7th grade then in high school, he was a terrible 'boyfriend',he cheated, lied, and snuck around. I apparently thought I was in 'love'. That was before Aaron who is a great boyfriend.

"You look great." he said licking his lips.

"Thanks." I said blankly. He leaned in to hug me, but luckily I moved fast enough to dodge it.

"What ex doesn't get shown some love?" he leaned it to kiss me. I wasn't fast enough. I pulled away looked him straight in the eye and smacked him.
All I could here was my heartbeat in my ear from my anger and Taylor saying "Oh Shit!". I'm not a dainty girl. Yeah I have personal problems, but I'm gonna stand up for myself. I was raised in a family of police men, marine soldiers, and navy sailors, so I had to be strong and stand up for my self. Once a military girl, always a military girl.

"Ay man, I think it's time to leave." Aaron said sternly now standing up.

"And who are you, Mr. tough guy?" Jason remarked with a wicked smirk.

"Her boyfriend." Aaron replied not showing him one ounce of Jason getting to him.

"Well don't you think you're cool?!" Jason said as if he was talking to a child. I could hear my grandpas' voice in my head now, "What the hell are you doing standing there, punch him! I know you want to!" I did, I could tell Aaron wanted to too. I lined my fist up with Jason's jaw and hit his sweet spot. He hit the floor like a rag doll. The manger came running up to me.

"Ma'm we're gonna need you to leave." the manager said sternly.

"This man was assaulting me! I was defending myself !" I practically screamed. Being the granddaughter of 2 cops you pick up a few tricks.

"We're still gonna need you to leave."

I looked into the mangers eyes
"Listen, unless you want a big case on your restaurant on you being sexist, I'd take him out and let me stay."

"Ma'm what's your name?"

"Alexis Glandon." I said sternly.

"Oh I'm so sorry Ma'm we will have him out of here as soon as possible." the manager said almost scared. Let's just say my family name is know around the Chicago area.

"Thank you." I looked around and saw everyone staring. "MAY I HELP YOU ALL??!!" I screamed. Everyone immediately started eating again. I sat back down at the table and got on my phone. I felt everyone staring at me except the girls they were eating. They already knew I could throw some hard punches.

"Wow.. THAT WAS HOT!" Cam practically screamed.

"Thanks, I try my best." I replied

"Doesn't your hand hurt?!" Aaron asked confused.

"No, she's been in a few fights." Jen answered casually like it was a Every day thing.

"Um I think we better leave, we'll go hang out at the hotel." Nash told everyone.
