Chapter 25

"Jc! Why are you here? How did you know I live here?!"

"I just moved next door..." he said pointing down the hall.

"Oh, what do you need?"

"I just wanted to stop by and say hi."

"Ok... Hi. I better go. I have to unpack still."

"Alright maybe we can hang out soon." he walked down the hall to his room.

"That is a no." I said quietly after he went into his apartment. I closed the door and walked into the kitchen.

"Who was that?" Jen asked from the living room.

"That creepy Jc guy." I said joining them in the living room. I sat next to Cam and started scrolling through my twitter feed. I saw a person mentioning me in a lot if tweets and it was Jc... he posted pictures of me like every 5 seconds and it was getting really creepy. I just blocked him and locked my phone.

"So, this is Iowa..." Aaron said breaking the silence.

"Yeah." Jen and Elisa answered in sync.

"What do you guys do around here?" Cam asked us.

"Play sports and go to school.." I answered with a smirk.

"Sounds fun, doesn't it!" Jen asked with the most sarcasm I've ever heard come out of her.

"Super fun! Do you guys have a mall?" Cam asked.

"Yeah. You wanna go?" I replied for the girls.

"Uh, Yeah!" Aaron screamed. I'm happy it's not AS awkward as it was with Aaron.

"It's 5 o'clock so we better leave now." I told the group. We all got ready and dressed. I decided to curl my hair and actually look presentable. I put on my favorite crop top, with a high waisted skirt and my vans. it sounds kinda weird, but it was super cute! I walked out and everyone stared at me.

"You look hot bby!" Jen screamed to me. I could instantly feel myself blush.

"Yeah..." Aaron said staring at me.

"Bro, you ok over there?" Cam asked trying not to hold back his laughter. No answer.

"AARON!" Cam screamed.

"Uh, yeah. What?" Aaron asked knocked out of his daze.

"Lets go!" I screamed running to the door. I was so happy to be home and going out. I walked out the apartment building doors and the warm Iowa air hit me.I was really happy for some reason, but I liked it. We all hopped in my car and drove to the mall.

-At the Mall-

We walked in and instantly went to Hollister. I didn't like Hollister, but Elisa and Jen loved that store. I could never fit in there clothes when i was younger so I never shopped there and still don't. We walked in and I instantly got a headache. The cologne was stronger then usual today. I walked to the back and started looking at some clothes. I felt 2 hands grab my hips with force. By habit I turned around and punched the guy. It was Cam and I instantly felt bad.

"OH MY GOSH Cameron I'm so so sorry!" I said helping Cam up.

"It's fine I shouldn't have tried to scare you." he responded covering his now bloody nose. Elisa saw and ran over.

"Omg what happened?!" Elisa asked wiping Cams blood with the nearest shirt.

"Girl, you just wiped his blood with a 50 dollar shirt...." I was amazed. She was gonna have to buy that now!

"It's fine, I have enough." she walked away to the front counter where Jen was talking to another guy?! it was flirty talking. I know my bed friend and I know the way she stands when she's flirting. she looks down a lot and pushes her hair back it's really weird, but I know she was flirting.

"You just gonna stand here?" I jumped a little. Aaron asked from behind me.

"Shit Aaron. You scared me."

"Oh sorry, what are you staring at?" he asked now joining my side.

"Observing Jen. Her and Matt are still a thing right?"

"I think so."

"Well Jen's flirting with another guy..."

"How do you know she's flirting?"

"Really Aaron? I've been her best friend since 4th grade I think I'd know when my best friends flirting..."

"Valid point."

"I know." I started walking towards Jen, but Aaron stopped me.

"Just let her be."

"No, if she's still dating Matt I'm gonna call her out... she's my best friend that's what I'm here for." I yanked my hand from Aaron's grip and walked towards Jen.

"Jen can I speak with you a moment?" I smiled my brightest smile to the worker. I read his name tag, it said his name was Adin.

"Yes?"

"Aren't you and Matt still a thing?"

"Yeah but he didn't want to come with the boys to see me so he obviously doesn't give a shot so neither do I!"

"You don't see Mak or Amanda flirting with anyone because their boyfriends didn't come..."

"They're not me."

"Ok well I'm me and I'm telling Matt. I'm callin you out." I walked away and pulled out my phone. I instantly texted Matt.

To Matt:
Watch Jen she's flirting with this worker, Adin, in Hollister...

From Matt:
How do you know she flirting? :/

To Matt:
I've been her best friend since 4th grade...

From Matt:
Oh... should I end it?

To Matt:
Yes. Let her see her mistakes.

From Matt:

I locked my phone and walked out the store. Aaron, Elisa and Cam followed. Jen had been stuck in Lala land with 'Adin ' . we went to finish line which was right next door.

From Jen:
Where are you guys?

To Jen:
Finish line.

A few minutes later Jen walked in the store. she looked kind of pissed.

"Alexis come with me."

"Ok...?" I followed her out in front of the store.

"You legit told Matt..?"

"Yes..."

"Why?"

"Really? you were talking to another guy why wouldn't I."

"Ok whatever but someone's coming your way." he pointed to someone behind my back I turned around. Jc.

"Hey babe." He went in for a hug. I dodged it.

"What the fuck do you want? You're always the same place when I am and you always have to come say hi!! Maybe I don't want to talk to you! Because you're creepy!!!" I didn't even think about what I said. It just came out.

"Ok." is all Jc said before walking away. By now Aaron was by my side. He reached to grab my hand and I let him. I still can't believe what just happened.

"I'm ready to go home..." I said to Aaron now facing him.

"Ok, I'll go get everyone else." Aaron kissed my cheek and went in the store. everyone came out and we headed to the parking lot.
