Chapter 5

Here I was in front if this guy speech less. All I could think was "Get your shit together Alexis!"

"Uh, Hey Aaron!"

"Sorry if I interrupted, I just wanted to make sure you guys were ok. I hadn't heard Amanda scream at you guys in a while."

"Haha, yeah we're fine. Thanks for checking on us though."

Awkward silence joined our conversation. We just stood there for a few seconds not saying anything. Just starting at each other. As if studying one another.

"Um.. ah thanks for checking up on us again" I (like always) awkwardly laughed.

"Uh yeah no problem. I better go."

"Ah yeah." And just as I was about close the door he turned around.

"Oh and Alexis..."

"Yeah?"

"You look great..." he turned around and walked into his room.

"Thanks." I said so quietly I could barely hear it. Why does this always happen to me!?!? I get hung up on a boy and they end up talking to someone else or having a girlfriend. Time has proven that I have terrible luck. You can ask Jen she knows everything. I closed the door and walked back into the bathroom.

"Woah, what was that?!" Jen asked raising a brow.

"Honestly I don't even know."

"Looks like he likes you!"

"Ha!! Like anyone could like me! I'm enough, they couldn't even begin to be able to handle my baggage too!"

"Well someone will, Alexis."

"Hopefully." I let out a sigh I didn't even know I was holding back.
