Chapter 35

I woke up to and empty room. It was 12:34pm already. I picked my phone off the side table. No texts. I crawled out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. I did my hair and put on some new clothes. I dialed Jens number. No answer.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Corrin came into the room.

"You have a key?" I dropped my phone on the bed and focused on Cori.

"Mhmm."

"Where is everyone."

"Uhh. I don't know."

"Yes you do." I smirked.

"The beach."

"Uh!! Why did they leave me!?"

"Don't tell them I told you... OK!?"

"Yeah, yeah what'd they say." I plopped on the bed and laid on my stomach.

"They said you've been a little off lately."

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean!!?"

"They said you've been really emotional and just acting weird."

"Well they're not lying" I mumbled.

"You have been a little off... what's bugging you?" Cori joined me on the bed.

"I just want some fried chicken..."

Cori burst into laughter.

"I'm so serious!!" I chuckled.

"That's all you want is fried chicken?!"

"YESSS!!" I screamed.

"Come on then! Let's go get some!" Cori grabbed her keys and ran out of the room. I put on my shoes and followed her. We hopped into her car and drove to KFC. I ordered and then choose a booth.

"What happened last night...?" Cori broke the silence.

"I don't know I just started throwing up."

"Oh, that weird."

"I know." I stuffed my face with chicken and mashed potatoes. "I'm so gonna regret this meal..." I shoved some more food in my mouth and kept chewing.

"So... me and Aaron are dating." I stopped chewing and looked at her.

"Congrats!" I smiled. I felt a little sick, but I managed to keep it down.

"You're ok with it right."

"Yeah. Of course!" I lied.

"Ok good." I hated lying to Cori, but I wasn't gonna tell her 'no that's not ok. I want him all to myself even if we aren't dating.'. I felt the dick feeling again this time I couldn't hold it back. I jumped out of my seat and ran to the bathroom. Like before everything came up.

"OHMYGOD! ARE YOU OK!?" Cori yelled.

"Yeah I'm fine." I stood up and washed out my mouth. "I think we should head back to the hotel."

"Oh yes of course. Let me grab our stuff." Corrin ran to grab our stuff the joined me again. "Come on." I put my arm around Corrin to help balance myself. We walked to the car and I somehow got myself in.

The ride back to the hotel was silent.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Cori asked me.

"What?"

"Magcon is tomorrow..." I had totally forgotten we were here for Magcon. I defiantly wasn't ready.

"Oh. Uh, Sure." I responded. We pulled up to the hotel and I hopped out. I walked as fast as possible to the room. Cori was close behind, but I still went faster. I got into the elevator and slammed the button for the 2nd floor. the doors shut and Cori just barely made it in. The elevator dinged and the doors opened. I ran out and to the room. I swiped my card through the lock and ran inside. Everyone was in the room....

"FUCK ME!" I screamed.

"What's wrong!" Amanda jumped up from Jacobs lap. I could feel tears welling up but I didn't know why. Cori was now by my side. I turned on my heals and walked as fast as I could out of the room. Amanda and Elisa followed me. I stopped and sat in the middle of the hallway. Tears were pouring out of my eyes. I didn't even know why.

"Alexis..." Elisa sat next to me. "It's ok." Elisa wrapped her arms around me.

"Everything's fine." Amanda chirped in. "What's wrong?" Amanda joined me and Elisa on the ground.

"I don't even know!!!" I sobbed. "I just want to sleep for a little, but everyone's in my fucking room."

"We can leave then." Amanda stood up and went to the room. Everyone soon fled out of the room.

I felt so embarrassed. I was sitting in the middle of a hotel hallway crying. I'm sure everyone thought I was a mess. I stood up and made my way to the room. I plopped on the bed and within seconds I was out.

-Later that day-

I woke up with a pounding headache. Everyone except Corrin were in their beds. I sat up and looked at everyone.

"Morning!" Mak laughed. "You look adorable right now."

"Oh shut up Mak!" I threw my pillow at her. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.

"AHH!" I screamed.

"What's wrong!!" Jen came running in. I ran my hands over my face.

"I LOOK LIKE SHIT!"

"Ohmygod..." Jen walked out of the room and left me.

I stared at myself in the mirror. I looked closer at myself. I didn't feel like myself. I felt trapped. Trapped in my past with Aaron. I couldn't get myself to admit he's not mine anymore. We're not gonna hug and kiss the next time we see each other. I couldn't get myself to comprehend that...

"Alexis..." Aaron was standing in the doorway. I just wanted to run to him, and hug him, and never let him go.

"Yeah?" I finally spoke.

"Where's Cori?" My heart instantly broke. He didn't care if I was ok anymore. He cared about Cori.

"I just woke up. I don't know." I focused back on my reflection in the mirror.

"Oh ok..." he disappeared. I was left with myself again. I brushed my thoughts away and focused on making myself presentable.

I curled my hair and put on some mascara. I ran to grab clothes and changed my outfit once again. I skipped out into the hotel room.

"Feeling better?" Amanda raised a eyebrow.

"Yes!!" I jumped up on to my bed.

"Wow you're energy level just shot up by 100..." Mak laughed.

"Since I feel better we should go out!!!!!"

"That actually sounds like a good idea..." Elisa chimed in.

"Should we invite the boys...?" Jen asked us.

"Why the hell not!" I yelled. "I just want to get out!"

"Ok! let's get ready!" Jen screamed. "Alexis go tell the boys!" I jumped off the bed and ran next door. I banged on the door until they open.

"Hey, Alexis." Jack G smirked. I just wanted to grab him and kiss him.

"Hi, we wanted to know if you guys wanted to go out with us..?" Jack looked back at the boys and they yelled and whooped in agreement. "I'm going to take that as a yes?"

"Yeah. We'll be next door in 15 minutes." Jack smirked.

A grin spread across my face.

"Ok, we'll be waiting!" Jack bent down and kissed my cheek. He closed the door and I felt my cheeks warm up. I skipped back to the room and we waited.

"Tonight will be interesting!"
