I got up early in the morning and fixed some breakfast and I went upstairs to check on Jacob and found him getting ready to leave. "Jacob, what are you doing?" I asked confused and concerned. "I'm sorry I", he stuttered, "I really need to go, I will come back soon, I just got to go." He hurried and finished packing and ran downstairs. I followed him down and before he got in his car I stood in front of him. "When will I see you again?" I asked him, "Meet me after school on Monday at old park." I just nodded my head, and I moved out of the way. Before he drove off he said "I really am sorry for this but I will explain everything to you at the park, ok?" I just nodded and put on a fake smile. After he drove off I walked back to my house and got back in my bed. I knew this would be a long weekend and an even longer week.

On Monday during school I constantly kept thinking of Jacob. Why was he acting so strange, kept going through my head. I didn't pay attention any during school, I just kept looking out the window of the class room thinking. Once the last school bell rang I grabbed some headphones and plugged them into my phone and listened to some songs. I walked home and got ready to meet Jacob, he wanted to meet at the old park that me and him played in when we were in elementary school. I got red hoodie and grabbed my phone before heading to the park.

I was nervous and anxious to get some answers. On the way there I passed a parking lot filled with old cars, as I walked by an old cheviot, that had a bad paint job, it beeped with life. It startled me at first, but as I kept walking every car I passed flashed blinding lights, and electrified with life. As I walked farther away the sound of the car's horns faded from my ears. I soon after arrived at the park and walked over to the playground. A swing in the corner creaked and groan as the wind pushed the old leather and chain. I stopped when I saw the monkey bars, its old bright yellow paint was chipping off the sides and turning into an auburn rust.

I remembered when me and Jacob used to play in this park, playing tag, drawing in the sand pit, and hanging upside down on the monkey bars making faces. In the corner of my eye I saw a bench and decided to sit there and wait for Jacob. The bench had a few hints of mold here and there so I picked up a stick and scrapped it off before I sat down. I sat there for a while until a gush of wind came beside me, I looked over to see Jacob in a blue pullover and a pair of black jeans. "I am really glad that you actually came Tony." He told me. "So are you going to tell me what's going on or are you just going to stare at the old monkey bars?" I asked sarcastically. "I am not going to tell you Tony," he said," I am going to show you." I was startled and he yanked my hand and I felt a gush of wind surrounding me. Is this how I die?
