Jacob had pulled out a knife and had stabbed me. My eyes feel like weights as I see Jack hovering over me and Jacob looking at me with tears in his eyes. Soon my eyes keep going in and out of what is happening. One time I see Jack with a cloth putting pressure on my chest then black. The next Jack is caring me down a hall way then black. Last I see a bright light hovering over my head and a tray of bloody tools beside me then all there is, is black...

My body feels like it was thrown into a garbage disposal over and over again when I woke up. When I open my eyes, a bright white light blinds my eyes. I grunt and place my hand over my eyes. "Sorry Tony, didn't realize you were awake." I hear Jack's heavy accent say. "You are fine Jack, but" I look around the room, "Where's Jacob?" His face goes pale and he looks at the ground. "He, uh" I could tell he didn't want to talk about the subject so I said. "I know what happened Jack, just tell me where he is." He looked up and said, "He is talking to the director about, the um, incident." Oh no, what is going to happen to Jacob? "You know Jacob wouldn't do that, right?" I said to Jack. He just bowed his head. "Wouldn't be the first." He said as he rolled up his shirt. I was shocked there were multiple scars that look similar to mine on his lower stomach. "For the past 3 days he has been doing it, he will go into the lab and try and kill me. Every time he tries someone would be inside the lab to help me." I felt like I had run into a brick wall. I was at a loss for words. Why was Jacob doing this? He wouldn't do this, would he? I had lost my patience, I pulled the IV's from my arms and tried to stand but collapsed on to the floor. "Woah, hold on their cowboy. You still may be drowsy from all of those pain killers." Jack said as he helped me up. I used the bed as a balance. "I-I ha-have to see him." I breathed out. "No way! You are not fit to be up and walking around. You are going to stay here and rest until the doctors say you are free to go." Jack said like a father telling his son to go to bed. "Fine." I said and laid down ignoring him. Next chance I get I am going to see Jacob.

I waited for an hour or two until I looked over at where Jack was sitting. He was asleep and knowing where he is from I knew he would fall asleep sooner or later. I could tell that the medicine had worn of so I stood up and tried to find my balance. I walked over, using the bed as a balance, to where my clothes were and put them on. I soon started heading to Jacob's room to try and find him. I wasn't hesitant to open the door and had full trust in Jacob that he wouldn't hurt me. When I looked around the room there was...nothing. No posters, no clothes, nothing. I looked around and then saw some paper on his bed. It read, "Tony, I am sorry for what I done. I hope you can forgive me. I have left Raven and have went out to have my own life. I am sorry to leave you there but I just can't hurt you again. For now this is goodbye. Your friend, Jacob" I had tears in my eyes, my best friend that went missing for 3 years and then leaves me all alone again. I lay on the ground hoping, praying that this wasn't real. But I already knew the truth. Jacob was gone and never coming back.
