(Luca POV)

As I walk down the hallway, I hear mumbled voices coming from Rain's room. I panic thinking maybe the people who've been leaving the threats are in there. Maybe she's trapped in there with them. It's too late at night for people to be visiting in other's rooms unless they're dating. I know for a fact Rain isn't dating anyone.

I hurry to her door and knock on it. "C-come in," I hear Rain's voice stutter. What the hell? Why is she stuttering? What is she hiding?

I open the door and there sits Rain and Aiden on her bed. Rain wraps her arm around her robe and pulls it together even more. Was she seriously about to let him touch her? How dare she let another man into her room with just a robe on.

I raise my eyebrow at her and she tries to hide her face. "Aiden, may I have a word with Rain for a minute?" My voice holds no room for arguing.

He nods then leans over to Rain, too close for my liking and whispers something in her ear. It is then that I notice one of his hands is holding hers. This makes my body twitch in irritation. He's touching someone that is not his. I see Rain nod a little and he pulls away with a smile before leaving a small kiss on her cheek. He gets up and starts to leave the room. As he passes me, I notice Rain is looking at the ground so I take the chance to give him a warning glare.

"Are you really that naive?" I ask.

"W-what?" She asks. I can't tell if she's acting or not with her innocent voice anymore.

"You let a man into your room."

"We weren't doing anything and I didn't intend to do anything."

"You don't need to intend to do anything these days. Only he does." It seems like a flash of realization hits her.

"Please don't get mad at him, sir. I've met him before and he's really nice. He's only trying to be friends with me."

"I'm sure that his only intention. How long have you known him exactly?"

"I've only ... talked to him once -"

"Once? And you invite him into your bedroom? In nothing but a robe?"

"I'm sorry. It's not like that. I'm not trying to walk around like a ..." She obviously did not want to finish her sentence or else it would be an implication of downgrading. I nod in understanding.

"I'm warning you. Stay away from him. He's not good news." What am I saying? None of us are. How is she going to believe in trying to protect her exactly? "Don't trust people that you barely know. You've made that mistake with me. Don't do it again. The results might not come out as well." I sigh. "I've never trusted him. There's something about him that makes me watch my back. Please be careful, Rain." I hold her gaze with my eyes and she nods. "Don't leave this place with him no matter what he says. Don't follow him into his bedroom. Don't let him into your bedroom. And if I were you, I'd try to make sure there were people around if I were near him."

She nods. "I understand, sir."

I look down at the ground. "What made you let him in here anyways."

She looks down at the bed in silence. I wait and wait, but she never answers. I open my mouth to tell her to forget it, but she beats me to talking.

"Let's just say, there was a knock on the door, he explained why he knocked and wanted to talk to me. Then he told me he wanted to be friends with me since it seems like I don't have many friends -"
