I was standing at my locker grabbing my books for third period when Colin approached me. By this time, the majority of our class knew about my 'relationship' with Reid. Wrapping his arms around my waist, I grinned at Colin's gesture before closing my locker. As I turned to face him I spoke.
"Look Colin I-"
"Don't worry about it Vic. I overreacted. Let's just forget any of this happened, okay?"
A smile enveloped my face as I met Colin with a warm embrace.
Pulling away from Colin, I noticed Reid was making his way towards us.
"I'll pick you up at 7 tonight babe," Reid stated coolly.
"Pick me up for what?" I asked glancing at Colin who had a slight frown on his face.
"Adrian's party," he said. "Why don't you come too wonder boy?"
"Sounds good," I replied glancing at Colin who was not entirely on board. "Come on Colin, it'll be fun!"
Colin raised an eyebrow at me as I shot him my best puppy dog face.
"Please, Col. For me," I said, smiling at him innocently.
"Fine," Colin replied. "But you owe me," he said with a wink before making his way to third period.

It was nearly six when Colin dropped me off at my house from our study session. I began searching for an outfit to wear to the party. I quickly decided on a white crop top, which I layered a flannel over before pairing it with my light wash denim shorts and my white converse.
I decided to go for lighter makeup, applying gold eyeshadow and some black eyeliner to intensify the look. By the time I had gotten dressed and done my makeup, I heard the doorbell ring, indicating that Reid was here to pick me up.
I opened up the door to reveal Reid in his signature blue jeans, which he paired with a white t-shirt, a black leather jacket, and a grey beanie. His eyes widened as he looked me up and down.
"Damn Miller," he remarked, still gaping at my appearance.
"Not so bad yourself, Taylor."
"Uh- we should uh- get going," he said, clearly still in awe.
I exited my house with Reid leading me to his black sports car. I climbed into the passenger seat and waited for Reid to start the car so we could be on our way to Adrian's.
"Who is Adrian anyways," I asked Reid. I assumed he was older than us because I had absolutely no clue who he was.
"He's a senior," Reid stated with a cool tone. "I met him a few years ago at one of Kian's parties."
Kian is in our grade. I knew him from French class. He has chestnut brown hair which falls perfectly on top of his head and deep blue green eyes. I had to admit, he was a good looking guy. He frequently skipped class, which is why it did not surprise me that he was friends with Reid.
------------------------------------
The party was in full swing by the time we arrived. Adrian's house was very modern, with a staircase made of glass, and the monochromatic color scheme which was carried throughout the house. I made my way to the kitchen to get a drink when I ran into Colin.
"Colin, you made it!"
"I said I was coming, didn't I?" Colin asked before flashing me a sly smile.
We made our way to the kitchen where Colin handed me a cup of cheap beer. I quickly downed it before refilling the cup and pulling him out to the dance floor. Colin placed his hands on my waist as I moved my hips rhythmically to the beat of the song. I could feel Colin's chiseled body through his denim button up as he pulled me closer to him.
Colin smiled as he asked, "So, where's Reid?" He leaned closer, his breath caressing my face as he whispered, "shouldn't your boyfriend be keeping an eye on these guys," his hand moved down my body, "who are clearly checking you out."
I tightened my grip around Colin's arm, biting my lower lip to stop myself from releasing a soft moan. Colin slowly began moving his body in sync with mine as his hands roamed my legs. I felt myself beginning to sweat, as he continued grinding his body flirtatiously against mine. I could feel my body moving ritualistically against Colin's, as my eyes rolled back in ecstasy.
I felt myself getting so lost in the movement that I had completely forgotten there were other people surrounding us. That was until we were interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Hey Vic," Greer exclaimed.
"Uh- hey Greer," I replied, reluctant to stop dancing with Colin.
"You totally look amazing tonight! Don't you think, Colin?"
"Yeah," Colin replied. "I'll catch you guys later," he said as he strolled over to talk to Kaia.
I rolled my eyes as Greer dragged me into the kitchen.
"What's going on with you and Colin?" Greer asked with a knowing smile.
"Uh- I- I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, attempting to hide the blush in my cheeks.
"Please Vic, it's so obvious that you guys have chemistry. You totally like him," Greer squealed.
"I don't like him Greer. In case you forgot, I'm with Reid," I remarked, annoyed by her nosiness.
As I noticed Kaia making her way towards us, I decided to go outside and get some fresh air. I was not prepared to deal with more questions about Colin and I. Stepping outside, I was greeted with the crisp air as I let out a deep sigh.
"Hello there," a deep voice called.
"Um, hi," I replied, unaware of who I was talking to.
"I'm Adrian," the voice said. "Why haven't I seen you around here before?"
"Oh, I'm just here with Reid," I stated.
Adrian stepped in front of me, revealing a tall brunette, with deep blue eyes. He wore a pair of beige khaki pants, and a dark blue button up shirt.
"Reid, huh?" Adrian asked.
"Uh yeah," I said. "He's my boyfriend."
"Well then," he remarked. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind if we had a little bit of fun," he whispered as he leaned closer to me.
Adrian was clearly intoxicated. I could smell the excessive amount of beer on his breath, and he could barely stand up straight. He leaned in to kiss me, but I abruptly shoved him away.
"Come on," he stated drunkenly. "Reid won't mind."
"Maybe not," I replied. "But I do."
"Oh babe, you're such a tease."
I rolled my eyes, beginning to make my way inside when Adrian grabbed my arm, spinning me around as he pulled my body closer to his. He suddenly pressed his mouth down against my neck, as I shuddered in repugnance. I was hopeless in my attempts to shove him off of me when I heard a deep voice coming from behind.
"Get your filthy hands off of her," Reid spat at Adrian.
"We were just having a little fun man," Adrian explained as he made his way towards Reid.
I cowered back as Adrian spat out a slew of threats that were sure to send Reid over the edge. Moments later, I heard Reid's fist connecting with Adrian's jaw as he toppled to the ground. I ran to Reid, embracing him as a crowd began to gather around the scene. I noticed Colin on the opposite side of the porch with a worried look in his eyes.
"Reid," Colin said. "You need to leave. Kian called the police."
I looked over at Reid and thanked him, as he made his way out of the house.
Once Reid had left, Colin ran over to me and swept me up into a hug.
"Vic I was so worried about you," he remarked, a hint of concern lacing his words. "I should've been there for you Vic. I am so sorry," Colin said as he look towards the ground.
"You're here now," I said with a small smile as I lifted his chin so his eyes met mine. "And that's all that matters."
