I opened my eyes to find I had fallen asleep crying. I've been out for two hours. It's four o'clock! I jumped up and started unpacking. I finally finished around five.
*knock knock* I heard on the door. Come in. Jamie walked in. "Hey. I came in here earlier to find you asleep with tear stains on your face. Actually they are still there. Is everything okay?" I don't want to tell her what happened with Luke ,but I don't want to lie either. "Um well. I called Luke." "Oh my gosh. He so did not do that. To you! Catherine?" I nodded. "Ya. How'd you know?" "Oh trust me I've known him long enough and I've seen that look on many girls faces. I knew him before I got here. We go way back. And the way he talked about you. See I called him up a little while before you came in and he told me about you. And you seem so awesome. He's definitely going to regret this one." I held in everything and just stood there. Then I finally spoke. "He talked about me? That was a sick move. Ugh. I just wanted a normal first day. But no instead I get this weird guy girl thing that made me lose focus. Wow. I'm crazy. If only aunt Margret could see me now." "Hey if it makes you feel any better. With my temper and your sas I'm sure that's in there. I think he will regret it the next time he bumps into us." I laughed. Oh that felt good. Just to laugh again. "That sounds awesome. And yes I can bring out a lot of sas and temper if needed." We laughed. "Well let's go eat shall we?" "We shall." "Great! Get dressed up in one of the dresses or a super cute top and jeans. Oh and ya just get ready ready. Like in thirty." She walked out and I rushed around trying to get ready. Finally I finished after twenty five minutes. I wore this super cute blue silky sheer dress with gorgeous heels. My hair was curled. My hair is long past my bra strap. I kind of want it cut but I don't know. My makeup is light. A touch of blush and a dab of clear mascara. My complexion is already clear and flawless and my eyelashes dark and long. So I only require a little bit of anything. I grabbed a wrap for if it gets chilly later. Jamie knocked once and opened the door. She was wearing a short red silk dress with nice black heels. Her hair was just above her shoulders and curled and pinned on one side. She took one look at me and shook her head. "Wow. You clean up nice. Now let me fix your face a little bit." I stepped back and shook my head. "Jamie, I like my look. I'm not a wild one. I like the humble yet spicy look." She grunted. "Ughh fine. Let's go." We went down to the first floor and out to a limousine waiting for us. There were others in there. Some couples and some singles. We got in. "Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see when we get there." Jamie answered. There was a guy in the back looking at me. Not with a creepy stare but more an admiring stare. I liked it. He was kind of cute too. So it was okay. "That's Austin." Jamie whispered into my ear. I smiled and nodded. We rode for maybe minutes and then came to a stop in a parking lot. The restraunt was called Fin's grill. And it is huge! "Impressed?" Asked a voice from behind me. I turned it was Austin. "Oh. Sorry. Yes, I am actually. This place is huge!" He laughed. "Ya I know. And it's delicious too. Tell me something were you ignoring me in the limo?" "Oh no. Well yes. *huh* both. I don't know you and the fact that you were basically staring at me is a bit creepy." He smirked and chuckled. "You will know me though. Hang with me tonight. I'll get you to having a great time!" I thought about it for a moment as he smirked and watched me. I let out a slight chuckle and smiled. "Okay. Just don't go getting any big ideas up in that head of yours." He pretended to be offended and put his hand to his chest. "Me? Do that? No, hun. You've got the wrong idea." "Huh it was your impression." With that we entered the building after the others.
"Hey, Fin! What's goin on man?" "Hey, Austin! Not much man just running this place." "That's cool. Yo this is my... Wait what should I call you? My frien-" "I'm Claire. Nice to meet you, Fin." "Nice to meet you too. You guys are at table 8 with the others." He smirked at Austin mischievously then laughed while shaking his head. "What's that about?" I asked Austin as we walked to table 8. "I don't know. Now are we not friends?" "Please. I just met you. Literally, like.. five minutes ago." "Oh but Claire ,hun, I thought we made a click out there. Come on why not be friends?" I stopped walking and turned to his face. He smirked. "If you don't stop and let me get used to this place before drowning me in chit chat about a bunch of things that are irrelevant at this moment, I will cut you open and gut you like a fish." His straight face turned to a smirk again. "You said 'irrelevant at this moment'." I took a deep breath while rolling my eyes, and turned around to keep walking. We reached the table and took our seats. Oh great. They are right next to each other. We all ordered and then talked. "So Claire, you like my man Austin right here?" Asked a guy named Marcus. "Um actually-" "Of course she does." Interrupted Austin. I kicked him as hard as I could under the table. "Ow! What the heck Claire?" "Stop interrupting me ,Austin." He smirked trying to hide the pain. "Now Marcus. Him and I just met tonight. I don't know if I like him as a person yet much less any other way. And if he keeps acting this way I might not at all." They both laughed. Austin is cute I will admit that. He has bright blue eyes and blonde hair. He's about 5'11 average weight and BOY is he built. "Excuse me for a moment. I'm going to the bathroom." I said ignoring Austin's stare. I walked into the bathroom ,and did what I had to do. As I walked back to the table I was greeted by none other than Luke himself. "Hey I've been looking all over for you. I tried you cell but you never answered." I rolled my eyes. "Gee must stink to not have your calls answered by the one you wanted." He crunched his eyebrows. "Gosh what's your deal?" I gasped. "What's my deal? Oh my gosh don't get me started. You act SO nice to me on the way to this place. You show me around ,flirting with your eyes and smile. You say kind things. You gave me "your" number because you wanted to "talk" if I needed anything. But you know what? All I needed was a wake up call. A little something to tell me what a jerk you really are. I'm not some bubble head girl that's new around here. I have morals. Don't think you can treat me like dirt and get away with it. Your rude and selfish. Girls shouldn't be treated this way. And by the sound of it you've done this a lot. Well jokes on you Luke. I hate your guts and don't you ever think to speak to me again." His mouth hung open and I started walking off. "Wait Claire. I can explai-" "Oh! And Catherine says hi." He stood in shock for a minute staring at me. "Claire. Please." "And here I was thinking that maybe I could trust someone here. But boy did that backfire. So ya maybe I am an idiot. A gullible idiot. Attracted to the first thing in site."  I wiped a tear from my cheek. I saw from the corner of my eye that Austin and Marcus were watching the scene as were the others. "You're not an idiot. Just please let me-" I slapped his hand back before he could touch me. "No! I don't want you talking to me or touching me. Just leave me alone."  He stepped forward. "But Claire." He reached out again this time grabbing my wrist. But before I could fight back Austin jumped up and punched Luke in the stomach. "Hey! She said leave her alone! What's wrong with you?" Luke still held his stomach in pain. He looked up and let out a breathy laugh. "Huh. So this is how it's gonna be now? This is who you choose to hang around. Bad choice Claire. He's trouble. Bad choice." With that he left the building. "Are you okay?" Austin asked while holding my hands. "Yes. I'm fine. I'd like to go home though. If that's okay." I sniffed. "Yes, of course. I'll get us a cab." "Us?" I asked. "Yes, us. You didn't think I was gonna let you go home alone on your first night out and also with that guy running around now did you?" I smiled. "Thanks." I said. We said our goodbyes and left the restraunt.

Well this was an eventful first night out. I hope it gets better.
