"(Y/n)? What are you doing here" "I- I- wanted-" "Shadow! Where are Scarlet shoes!?" I heard someone yell from inside his house. "Wh- who's that? And who's Scarlet?" "None of your business" he slammed the door on my face. I stood there shocked, saddened, and some buried feeling. I turned to walk away then I heard the door open again. "Oh I kn-" I stopped when I noticed a woman standing there. She had black hair with a green stripe in it, emerald eyes, and a green and black outfit. "Hello there" "who- who are you?" "Em-" "mommy!" I saw a little girl with black hair and the same color eyes as me. A bit of (same as your hair color) was mixed in with it. The lady picked her up. "Emerald, who are you?" "I'm-" "Em you must be leaving" I saw Shadow standing in the doorway. 'Emerald' listened and got in, what I assumed, was her car.

"What do want?" "Who was that?" "What is it (y/n)?" His voice was kind of agitated. Is he not happy to see me? "I just... wanted to see how you've been" I couldn't tell him now. I don't who that lady is. "Come inside..." He gave in and groaned. I went inside slowly. The place didn't look all that different. "Who was that lady? A friend of yours?" "(Y/n)" He walked up to me. My cheeks burned up. "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave now" "I-" "I don't want you ruining this relationship" he was always blunt. Tck. "I didn't ruin the first one!!" "Get out" I stomped out, pushing him on the way.

I walked outside. I got in my car. I cooled off for a bit before driving off. I didn't know where I was going. I ended up driving to an old time friends house. I knocked on the door. "(Y/n)? Oh my gosh, I've missed you so much" Amy hugged me. She invited me in. We sat down in her living room. Some things were moved around and some new things were in here. She was always a decorative type. "I'm so glad your back" I saw Sonic walk in and sit in the arm of the couch next to Amy. "Sonic's visiting?" "No" she laughed. "He lives here" my eyes widened. "Really!? So you two are...?" "Dating" she giggled. "Wow" "you've really missed some things" Sonic added to the conversation. "So, why'd you come back?" I looked at Amy. My expression saddened. Sonic got up, "I'll let you guys talk about girl things" he left the room. "I thought that I could go back... I was wrong" "about what? Go back to what?" "Shadow" her smiled dropped.
