A soft breeze tickled the leaves upon the large oak trees outside Snowpoint Temple. Although most of the dewy grass had been covered by a blanket of fresh snow, you could still make out its emerald hue.

The sky itself was beginning to darken to a navy color. If you didn't hurry and find Regigigas, you'd be forced to spend the night inside a frightening cave. Your older sister Candice would probably get worried as well and send the Mamoswine guards to come find you. Those guys were quite rough when it came to handling you. They believed you were a nuisance, annoying and always getting in the way.

You shuddered at the thought of then marching in and plucking you from the iced ground inside the cave like a grape from a vine.

"No way, Y/N!" You assured yourself silently. "You will definitely find this Regigigas and prove that it exists!" With that small oath embedded in your mind, you hurried inside the frigid cave with little more than your coat, a satchel, and the shoes on your feet.

Inside the cave was like a corn maze. Twists and turns at every corner. The frozen ground was your opponent and at the moment, you were at a disadvantage. One wrong move and you could end up in the wrong place.

Yet, this didn't discourage you. "Now, where's that map?" You spoke aloud to yourself. You slid the satchel off your shoulder and dug around the contents inside. "Where could I have put it?"

Could it have been possible that you forgot it? "Nevermind." You mumbled, shoving everything back inside. There was only one choice left and that was to venture through the temple without the aid of your map. Regigigas couldn't have been too far and the temple was only so big. Yes, it was quite dark but a lack of light wasn't going to stop you from proving everyone else wrong.

For months, the townsfolk of Snowpoint City had dubbed you the town cuckoo. While they managed to steer clear of any and all of the humanized Pokemon, you chose to make nice with them. Some found you a little odd but they were grateful for a human who listening instead of running off scared.

When the people of Snowpoint saw you, the younger sibling of their fair gym leader, walking around town conversing with those humanized creatures, they cocked an eyebrow. They whispered to each other. They teased you openly.

You didn't mind much, though. Who needed them when you had the Pokemon on your side?

Then it came. The legend of Regigigas who had fled Snowpoint earlier out of fear for being called weird. Ugly. Different.

That was just the challenge you needed. To make friends with a legendary Pokemon who was afraid of humans. If he/she saw that you were nice, Regigigas would return to Snowpoint. It wouldn't have to be afraid anymore.

No one in town believed you, of course. They all wanted to see you fail so you had to prove them wrong.

There was ice in every corner. Somewhere deep in this temple, Regigigas was hiding. But how could you possibly get there when there was so much ice to slip on? What if you slid and broke a leg before getting to Regigigas? There was no one to hear your cries or save you.

Still, you took the risk.

With one foot before the other, you slowly made your way towards the doorway in the back. You were doing so well that you didn't give anything else a second thought. "I've got this!" You cheered with an air of triumph in your voice.

Well you did have it until the echo from your cheery voice rumbled the walls of the temple. Or was it something else?

Either way, the shaking caused pebbles to tumble from the rock walls. Not only that but you tripped over your own two feet, falling flat on your face.
