I awoke to my phone ringing, I looked at the caller and it was Sophia, Skyla's sister. I looked over to see if Willow was awake, but she was soundly asleep, looking like a little kid so innocent and peaceful asleep with her arms wrapped around herself. I picked up immediately, she had never called me before so something must have happened.

"Hello? Sophia?"

"Talia. I'm sorry if I woke you up or anything but we need you to come over, something's happened."

"Why didn't Skyla call me?" I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, a really bad feeling like something had happened. It made me feel sick.

"Talia..Skyla didn't call because well..Skyla's missing." I dropped the phone in shock, her voice still bleating out on the floor....

My best friend was missing.....

Talia's POV

I shook Willow awake, slightly harshly, but she rolled over and opened her eyes.

"Morning baby, listen I need to leave here quickly," her face fell and I couldn't bear it, I knew what she must think, "No no honey, it's not that it's just well Skyla's missing. I just need to borrow some clothes and then I'm going straight over to her house." Relief flooded to her face quicker than my heart was beating.

"Babe I'm going with you, I'm her friend as well and I want to be there for you. We'll find her." She got out of bed, and walked over to her spacious wardrobe. Lust clouded my eyes as I watched her behind shake from side to side as she walked. I was daydreaming slightly and then clothes were thrown at me. Really nice skinny jeans and a cute purple shirt. She was slimmer than me, but I hoped they'd fit me. Then she let me borrow one of her bras, I might not give this back ;)

I threw the clothes on quickly and then put the clothes from yesterday in my bag. I turned around and Willow was dressed. She hugged my waist from behind, it helped me relax slightly. That was when I let my breath go that I'd been holding for the past few minutes. Tears were building, I could feel it. My stomach was twisting, Skyla was missing. I couldn't bear it.

We left hurriedly and Willow locked the door. The air was still, eerily still. It was like it had frozen for Skyla. There was no sign of life anywhere. Maybe they'd all gone where Skyla had..

Wherever that was.

I was walking as briskly as I could, Willow half jogged to keep up with me. This made me feel bad, but my best friend was my priority right now. An image kept flashing into my mind, of Skyla in some ditch with blood pouring down her face, shivering and a creepy drunken guy beating her. That creepy drunken guy beating her...

Even though I was walking as fast as possible the trip seemed to be taking us longer than yesterday, when we were dawdling and kissing and being happy. And Skyla was safe, she was okay.

I could see their emerald green door standing out on this small insignificant street. I couldn't wait any longer, I sprinted down that street, my feet hammering on the hard street, my breath ragged (okay okay I needed more exercise chill) and my hair blowing all around me, unbrushed from last night. There were a second pair of hammering footsteps, and I looked to my right to see Willow with her long hair billowing everywhere, running right alongside me.

I stopped just outside her house, and with a shaky hand I turned the handle, not bothering to knock in a time like this. I walked straight into the living room, and that's where I saw the chaos. Three different police workers were talking to each other and various members of the family, Skyla's parents were worriedly talking to one of them, Craig to another. Both police workers had serious expressions on, this frightened me slightly. The police woman on the side was hurriedly speaking into a walkie talkie. Sophia sat on the sofa, staring into nothing and biting her lip anxiously. Her cheeks were wet with tears already cried, her eyes shining with the ones she was about to cry.

"Sophia?" I walked into the room cautiously and she looked up at me. She stood up, walked over to me, and cried into my shoulder. I put my arms around her as she cried, I felt so bad for her.

"Sophia what happened?" She sobbed further into my shoulder, and then she backed away a little, and rubbed her eyes with her jumper sleeve.

"Skyla s-she left last night, s-she didn't say why and then s-she never c-came home. And that's n-not it. W-we found this." She stuttered, and then she pointed to a plastic bag with two envelopes in.

"What are they?" She sighed and shook her head, walked out of the room.

"They're letters and pictures, sent by..Skyla's father. Turns out that he has certain friends outside of prison. They've been stalking her and us and well they sent her a letter about her boyfriend. They have almost 100 different photos of him in the other envelope, they're implying that they'll do something to him. That's the other thing, Daniel's missing as well."

"Shouldn't you be out there finding these people? Finding some way of contacting Skyla or Daniel? That little bastard he..ugh he messes with her head so much!" Willow's arms were around me and suddenly I was shedding all of the tears, of hurt and anger and confusion and frustration, into Willow's chest.

Daniel's POV

I sat in this cold, empty room. I curled in a ball crying, I had to help Skyla. I could hear her screams, every piercing scream she made sent a chill down my spine and a sob in my throat. What could I do though? I was in a windowless, locked empty room. I had a phone on me, but it was dead. I had nothing else with me. These men had just grabbed me from the street and left.

"Stop stop! Make it stop please make it stop!" She cried out. I couldn't do anything and it killed me. I had tried to pick the lock but failed. Last night I hit at the door until my hands bled and I was so tired I dropped to the floor. I must have imagined it, but there was a knock on the door. Why were they knocking when they were the reason I was here? I grunted in response and an unsmiling man walked into the room, bent down with a disgusting plate of slop, and left again. I tried some of it and spat it straight out. It was disgusting! They must have been trying to poison me.

I took the metal fork, stood up and tried to pick the lock with it. When it didn't work, with all of the strength and anger I had I threw it at the wall and shrieked.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH US. CAN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and then fell to the floor in a heap, crying. Please, somebody find us. Help me, help Skyla.

(A/N) Hey guys! Well well wasn't this eventful? Sorry that this is such a short chapter, and probably not very good, it's just I have loads of writers block :( It sucks so much! I'm going to regret posting this because after this I have no idea what's going to happen...oh well :) I know kind of so that's a start. I know that there's only going to be around 5 chapters left after this :( But this has been pretty good for my first book, and thank you so much for the reads everyone!! I have no idea what to right next, might try a girlxgirl? I'd be more comfortable with that :) Leave your ideas in the comments, don't forget to fan and vote as well :)

Love you♥
