I'm watching you Sky

I could feel tears prick and I was about to hyperventilate. I put the letter hastily into the envelope, and felt more paper inside. I took out the sheets and my mouth made an O shape in horror and disgust.

There were pages and pages of pictures of me, me at home, me around town, me with my family, me with Talia, me at school, me in the car. Some were of me stood near my window, things like that. I wondered if I'd changed without closing the curtains at any point? Fuck if I had. There were pages and pages of pictures. I looked at the last page, pictures of me with Daniel. One even pictured us making out, I couldn't see where we were. There was something printed on this picture.

Pleasuring another older boy now are we, slut?

I wasn't okay, I wasn't okay at all.

I was shaking and crying, I knew that it wasn't him watching me, it couldn't be, right now he was in prison. He must have people watching me for him, that scared me. I had to tell Mum, and Talia. But what if that just put them in danger? I was so confused. I closed the door and walked into the living room, where Talia was excitedly using some of my makeup, looking in the mirror. She was so happy, I couldn't do this to her. Her eyes were lit up like I'd never seen, I watched her make herself up to be what she wanted for a few minutes, and then I sighed and went up to my bedroom. I took the envelope with the horrible pictures in, and I ducked underneath my bed and pushed them as far back as they would go. I sighed, I could hear Daniel happily whistling as he had his shower, happily whistling because of me. I couldn't show him this, they would know. They would know for sure.

I opened my window to get some fresh air into my stuffy room. I looked from side to side out of my window, to see whether I could see anyone suspicious, anyone hiding in bushes, Thankfully I saw nothing, which should have calmed me but it didn't. I sighed, sprayed myself with some Taylor perfume, and then I headed downstairs. As I was on the stairs I heard the doorbell ring. I watched as Talia coolly walked over to the door, yet she was wearing a huge smile. I watched as she opened the door, and Willow matched her smile. I envied Willow's fashion sense, she was wearing a really cute dress that was knee length and flowery, with really nice heels. They hugged each other, and Willow blushed. I think they liked each other a lot.

Talia offered her a drink and went to get one, I continued walking down the stairs.

"Hey Skyla! I hope I'm not intruding," Willow said happily, with a slightly shaky voice. I think she was nervous.

"Hi Willow. No of course you're not, Talia's like my sister so it's fine. Though," I pulled her aside slightly and whispered to her, "Though if you hurt her I'll kill you. She's been hurt so many times before, and I like you Willow I do, I just can't watch my best friend be put through that again." She nodded, completely unfazed.

"Skyla it's early days but I have totally no intention of doing that." She looked at me with wide, honest eyes and I wanted to believe her, I did it's just that every girl Talia's dated has started off being all sweet and you believe that they'd never be capable of hurting anybody but the truth is, horrible people aren't always easy to spot. They don't have horns or wear capes, they're ordinary people. They can look sweet and believable but inside they're capable of anything. I just nodded, and then gave her a small smile. Talia came out from the kitchen, with two drinks in her hands. I smiled at her and told her I was taking a walk. I wanted to give them some space, besides I didn't exactly want to be sat next to them on the couch whilst they made out or something.

As I shut the door I put earphones in and jammed-yes you guessed it-some Taylor songs. I wanted to sing along but that would be slightly weird. Smiling to myself, I decided to walk around my village a little. I smiled at people I recognized but mostly focused on the music. It was an upbeat song that really made my muscles ache to dance along. I passed my brother, he was with his friends. I was surprised that he was actually out of bed at this time. I came to a stop at the village park and sat on a swing. I used to come here when we first moved, it was the only place I could feel free and be by myself. I swung slowly, gently, the music still playing in my ears. The sky was blue, and it seemed like today would be a good day.
