A chuckle left Noah once Alanah's parents had left.

"Wow, Lay-Lay. Have I really changed that much since I left?"

The nickname 'Lay-Lay' immediately snapped Alanah out of her upset attitude and she looked up at the boy beside her.

"No-No..? How is this even possible..? I thought I'd never see you again."

With her final sentence, Alanah stood up and wrapped her arms around Noah in a hug, burying her head in his shoulder, relaxing slightly as he began to rub her back.

"I came here for you, Lay-Lay. I'm here to take you home."

Alanah looked up at her friend confused.

"What do you mean 'home'..? This is my home..."

Noah sighed softly, placing his hand on Alanah's cheek.

"It's a lot to explain, Alanah, but I need to let me show you... I'm the only one who's gonna be this nice and ask..."

She still incredibly confused, and sighs lightly.

"How would we even get to this place without my parents seeing us and getting suspicious?"

Noah chuckled.

"I have a way, but you have to trust me."

"When have I ever not trusted you, Noah?"

Noah took Alanah's hands.

"I need you to close your eyes, and you can only open them when I tell you."

Alanah nodded and closed her eyes, soon after getting a weird sensation. It was almost like she was floating, but... different. Alanah squeezed Noah's hands, keeping her eyes closed.
