Chapter 3.
In school, a few days later, I didn't have a good time. Nobody was talking to me, nobody was trying to braid my blonde highlighted hair, no boy was trying to look into my pretty light brown eyes, I felt like an outcast... Now I know how wall flowers feel.
I walked through the hall way, none of my friends say hi to me anymore. They all just hang around Mr. Good looking. I sigh, I never knew how not having friends could be so boring.
I stared at some of my friends for a while, and when the bell rung, I went to class. " I'll take attendance" Mr. Crimson announced, and I waited for my name. " Campbell Sparst" Mr. Good Looking raised his hand. So that's his name, I gave him a glance. The teacher called my name " Autumn Clark!" I didn't answer, to busy staring at Campbell. Some girls gave me the eye, but I didn't budge.
" Autumn Clark!" I snapped out of it, and raised my hand. " Here, um, sir"
I saw Campbell looking at me with a smirk on his face. Him. It was because of him that I lost my friends. My reputation. He was smirking so much it looked like he was frozen. My eye twitched, and I turned around to take a deep breath.
At lunch, I went outside, and hid behind my special tree. It was near a play ground that is next to school. This is really the only place where I feel happy.
A quiet kid named Diego also sat in the same area as me. He became my friend since the day Campbell started this school. " So, how did today go so far?" Diego asked, he had that Mexican accent. I smiled a little. " Not so well, but it could have been worse" Of course I was talking about what happened in fourth period. I refuse to give the details....
Diego grinned. " My day was same, go to class, stare at teacher, stare at teacher again, go to lunch" Diego can speak fluent English, he just has an accent. I smiled again, and ate my ice cream I got from the cafeteria. Suddenly I felt a cold feeling go down my back, and it was wet. Diego yelled " Stop ice cream on back!" And I turned around to see Campbell and my former friends laughing. " Soooorrry Autumn, it slipped" Campbell sarcastically apologized.
I screamed from the cold burst, what kind of Ice Cream was it? Oh I hope it won't stain my shirt!
Carly and Matt were laughing at their lunch table. I looked around, to see if Diego was there, but he wasn't.
That kid is a fast runner.
I stomped away, to the nurses. I was really stressed, and running on a high fever. The nurse sent me home, thankfully.
When I got home one of the maids laid out some sweat pants, fluffy green socks, and a purple sweat shirt.
" Mint Ice cream, or lemon Ice?" A maid asked as I was laying down in my bed. " Neither, but some chicken noodle soup would be nice" The maid nodded and trot out of my room, when I heard a beep on my phone. Who would text me now? My brother, or and dad? Unlikely, their both really busy and rarely text. Or, at least rarely text me.
Text from:
Allison Dwyer
" Oh, yippie, I have no Idea who this person is" I replied to her text.
Allison: Umm... Hey. I'm Allison, but u can call me Ally.
Me: Hey Ally. What do ya need?
Ally: Well, we both need something. To get back at Campbell Sparst.
Me: He's been bothering u 2? I thought I was the only one.
Ally: Meet me in the park.
Me: How do I know your not a man to trying to kidnap me? Or Campbell trying to hurt me?
Ally: Just meet me in the park near the fountain.
I agreed to meet her. Not because I wanted to, but because I was so desperate to make Campbell pay and this might be a good opportunity to do that right.
And get back at Campbell is exactly what I'm gonna do.
