Plan ruined!

Chapter 6.

I watched Campbell getting all over her. No! He can't do this! I'm the one who is supposed to! He is ruining everything!

I need to fix this. I need to fix this now! I walked up and tapped Campbell on the shoulder. He jumped up, and swung himself around. " Autumn! You weren't supposed to see that!" He panicked.

" I'm in the building, I was going to get us punch, and I was going to come back HERE, and your saying I wasn't supposed to see that?" Can he really be that clueless? I gotta fix this before the whole plan just... Dies. Wait... Does he know about the plan?

He does. He wouldn't take me to these fancy parties because he wanted to, he did it so I can get all blushed up and then I could catch him cheating on me. He isn't the kind of boy that would bring a girl to a fancy party.

I have him all figured out. His little game won't work on me. Oh no no no. " You know the plan, you wouldn't take any of your dates to this kind of place" I mutter. " Autumn, Autumn, Autumn, I'm not as stupid as you think"

I hate him. I hate him. How did he know? " Is this some trick you and your little friend Ally made up? To tease me, and make me feel embarrassed and bad?" I yelled. Everyone turned and looked at us, and stared. But I didn't care. He looked at me with amusement, the girl who he kissed laughed.

She held out her hand to shake mine. I stepped back, not wanting to even look at her. Wait.... Am I? No, I'm not.

I can't be jealous.

Can I?

No. No that's impossible.

I'm overreacting. Just overreacting.... I breathed in and out five times slowly. The girl frowned and also stepped back. " I see, you're not talking today, I'm Claire" Claire says in a meaner voice. I didn't want to tell her my name. Why am I taking this so seriously? I laughed. " Hilarious" I said and stomped away. " Autumn!" Brett ran up to me. " What do you want?" I looked down, and started to cry.

" Are you alright? Did Campbell do something?" Brett asked. I couldn't tell him, he's friends with Campbell. He lifted my chin up with his fingers, revealing my tears. We stared at each other for a moment, he looked so caring. " Autumn..." Brett whispered.

I wrapped my arms around him and cried on his shoulder " Shh..." He calmed me down. This is the Brett that I know.
