It was the last book of Tessa Tobias' True Crime series, and of all people, Andreau had to understand that.
She understood him, too. Andreau just came back from a week long shoot in Batanes and decided to jump in the shower right away. He asked her to join him, in an innocent but slightly suspicious manner, but she declined. She was getting to a really good and overdue part. Finally, after 30 books, nasa define the relationship point na sina Brandon at Hayes. Matatapos na rin ang halos two decades (na ten years lang sa True Crime universe) na slow burn book ng OTP niya, at hindi tatalab ang kahit anong pang-aakit ni Andreau sa kanya. And besides, she knows her boyfriend so well. Kunwari innocent and relaxing bath lang sa una pero mauuwi rin sa sex. Hindi pa rin kasi maka-get over si Andreau sa shower sex fail nila last month, at mukhang gusto niyang ma-perfect 'yon this time.
She can always shower with him later. Just...not right now.
With a sigh, Andreau gave her a look but went and got in the shower anyway, leaving her to her book.
Minutes later, she was in the middle of a heated exchange between Brandon and Hayes when she heard the water turn off. From the corner of her eye she saw Andreau wandered into the room wearing nothing but a towel. For a second there she forgot the book in her hands and let her eyes roam over his toned muscles, the water dripping down them somehow making him even sexier.
An aching heat pooled between her thighs, a glaring reminder that she hasn't got laid for nine days now.
He threw her a smirk when he caught her staring, approaching the bed as she went back to her book. The bed sunk by her feet seconds later, and she glanced down to see her boyfriend crawling onto the king sized bed, staring up at her hungrily.
"What now?" she asked when he suddenly caressed her ankle and began peppering kisses on her right leg. His arm slid up her thighs, and Zade let out a deep sigh.
Okay, he already made his point. She chose fangirling over sex earlier. But now? She must satisfy her other needs, too.
"Don't." Andreau said as she was about to set the book aside. "Keep reading."
She shot him a curious look. "Really?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"That's Tessa's last book, right? You've been waiting for that for years now, Zades. Don't stop on my account."
The witty comeback she formulated was completely forgotten when he nuzzled her through her already damp panties and grinned at the laughter that erupted from her throat. She's sensitive there, a little ticklish, but Andreau knows she likes the teasing. He knows how much it turns her on. Just like now.
"Andreau, what the hell!?" she whispered, and he chuckled, turning his head to kiss the inside of her thigh.
"Focus on your book, Zades." He reached up to the waistband of her panties, slowly dragging them down her legs.
