Chapter 25

Kian's P.O.V.
When I was sure that Connor had swallowed the pill, I took him in my arms and held him close. Connor had stopped fighting against me, knowing he had lost. He just cried in my arms until he was asleep. My head rested on his and I felt the tears leave my eyes. I'm just too upset about what just went down. I slowly looked up to all the other guys. Gilinsky let Shawn take a look, so that Connor breaking down wasn't the last thing he would remember about tonight, but a peacefully sleeping Connor. Cameron was holding Hayes in his arms. Tyler was holding Jc. Ricky and Troye were hugging. The Magcon boys were also holding onto each other in pairs.

I looked back down at Connor and knew we still have a long way to go. I ask for a little help and we take Connor up into his room. That pill swept him out and it will take a while for it to lose its effect. Hayes had walked after us and sat down in Connor's big chair. When Ricky, Tyler and I were about to go down, we wanted to take Hayes with us, but he refused. He wanted to stay with Connor and be there for him when he wakes up. We leave him be, because it might not be a bad idea. Let him watch what it does with people like him, and maybe just a little rest will do him well.

The three of us leave him and get down. We watch as the boys slowly untangle from each other. Gilinsky does the same, but Shawn refuses to let go, so Gilinsky puts his arms back safe around him. He softly rubs Shawn's back. Troye prepares something to drink for everyone with the help from Johnson. Some wanted tea, one even wanted a coffee, and others wanted some juice or soda. We all sat down in silence. No one really knew what to say or wanted to be the first to talk. When we were about five minutes into the silence, I got tired of it, but I wasn't the first to speak.

"Do you think he will ever get better?" Shawn asks silently. He is still in Gilinsky his arms. He's really scared to let go. "Of course he'll get better. We'll fight for it." I tell him. "We are prepared to give everything just to get him better." Troye adds and all the O2L guys, and Troye and Tyler, agree with me. Basically just Jc, Ricky, Troye and Tyler agreed with me.

The rest of the minutes, or hours, without Hayes and Connor present, were spent in a long silence. We had decided that we needed to talk though. We talked about Hayes and about Connor. We wanted to talk about Shawn too, but we didn't want to talk with him being present. He said that he didn't mind. He wanted us to talk with him present, so he could interfere when there was something we hadn't right, or when we discussed about what should be good for him. He never really interfered though. He was too lost in his own thoughts while hugging Gilinsky who's softly rocking him from side to side. To calm him down in the hope he'll calm down enough to get back to normal. Or at least normal enough where he isn't so scared that he can sit on his own and doesn't hold onto Gilinsky as it's a life or death decision.

Connor's P.O.V.
I feel dizzy, tired, sad and just everything there is to feel. Just no positive feelings. I'm also very nauseous. Like I need to throw up. "You look terrible." I heard. I look up to see Hayes sitting on my desk chair. "Yeah, thanks man." I tell him sarcastically. "How you feeling?" He asks me. So I tell him everything I feel. If it would have been Sam or Shawn, I would have told the truth too. If it were someone else, I would have lied. I trust them. They know how I feel. I hope.

"What happened?" I didn't want to let anyone that I had no idea about what happened. Last thing I remember is being downstairs. Nothing more. "You freaked out. It was so scary." He explained. I knew it would have been when I saw his expression change. He went from worrying to horror. "Why did I freak?" I ask him. I'm really interested. "You were shaking, crying uncontrollably and you were breathing really weird. It all was just weird. It went so fast. Kian did everything he could to calm you down. It was so scary to see." The tears rolled down his cheeks as he tried to remember the events. Now that he's talking about it, I have little flashbacks. It's not much, but I do remember that I could hardly breathe and how I was scared and shaking.
