Chapter 4 Lazy summer days

Waking the next morning wrapped in Dwight's arm, feeling his chest rise and fall with each breath as my head was resting on him, I smiled kissing his chest as he softly said " Morning beautiful, sleep well?" I noded yes and answered " I can get so use to waking up like this, feeling your warmth and love handsome." He lifted my chin to look at his face saying " And I will always wake up with you in my arms everyday I can, as sometimes I may have to be away from you, but I promise it will never be so long you yearn for any other man Kandi, and no other woman will ever share my bed but you." My phone rang as I glanced at the clock noticing it is six, I kissed Dwight then picked up the reciever, since all calls for the lodge are transferred to my suite until someone turns off the forwarding at the desk I answered " Crossroads Lodge and Guest ranch." Dwight smiled then nodded toward the bathroom as I smiled nodding yes back.

He asked me who was the call from when he came back out of the bathroom, and I told him it was one of my maids calling in sick so now I would be cleaning some rooms today. Dwight sighed saying " You really go all out here beautiful, I don't want you over working so just hire another maid." I chuckled kissing his cheek saying " I really don't mind doing the work handsome, and it gives me time to know hands on what my staff has to work with, problems, things like that." He hugged me tightly crashing his lips to mine moaning " You are so caring and gorgeous, Kandi please just let me know when things are needed here because until now I never realized how hard you do work for the lodge and me." I smiled licking his bottom lip as he allowed my tongue entry and we tasted each other enjoying the sensual feelings, love and closeness.  He slapped my ass with the towel as I walked past him chuckling and I growled then took my shower. After I got out dried and changed into comfortable clothing we both went to the lobby, he lit the fireplaces as I turned on the computers and got everything ready for Carrie at seven.

When Carrie, Tim and Ben arrived, Dwight and I both teased Tim about his date, asking him how it went as he blushed telling us that he and Darla have alot of things in common and it was a good date. Darla showed up about ten minutes later blushing when she looked at Tim and he smiled at her while Carrie teased them both. Dwight raised an eye brow saying " Okay I have no problem with staff dating each other, just keep to your jobs, what you do off the clock is your personal life, clear you two?" Darla and Tim both said yes as I chuckled letting the guys go to the kitchen to help Jeb  with breakfast then informed Carrie I would be cleaning some rooms today since Laura called in sick. I do have one male maid, Walt, then Laura, Kim and Sherry who clean the  thirty rooms as Andrea and Macie clean the ten suites. Carrie and Darla went to get their breakfast as Dwight and I both looked over the computer screen at the next group bookings, any issues and the activities for today. Dwight mention he could help out today but he needs to go back to New York and check on his two other hotels soon. I nodded yes to him when he sighed pulling me onto his lap whispering " I promise not to be gone long sexy, I feel like I can't be away from you that long." I moved his hair off his forehead kissing it saying " I trust you Dwight, just knowing Morgan could find out you are back, well I don't trust her."

After the two girls came back with their breakfast Dwight and I headed in to eat ours and mingle with the guests. A few parents couldn't thank Dwight enough for the game room as I chuckled and he was ever so polite nodding as he took the compliments and praise. We sat down at a table by the kitchen door talking about how he and Alec could take the eight teens and two adults horseback riding today, wile Hank,Seth,Doug and Evan could do the lake, fishing and that group. I smiled nodding to him that it was a sound plan gently holding his hand saying" Handsome you are also amazing to help me out today with all this, I know you have your own work to do." Dwight laughed kissing my hand replying" This place and you right now are my main concerns beautiful, If you're happy, this place runs so smoothly and I have watched this place go gang busters with positive comments, revenue increasing leaps and bounds since you have been here Kandi." I blushed making him smile saying " Still not use to compliments, and I still think that color is so alluring on your cheeks." I smiled as he kissed my hand again then we dug into the great breakfast Jeb made this morning.
