Dear you,
I think I hate the loneliness the most. I come home expecting you to be there and I have to remember you won't be. I still bring flowers every Wednesday only now it's pink zinnias instead of white, they seem more elegant. I got a new job, I can't come in the mornings anymore but I visit on my lunch breaks. I've not spoken to anyone in a while, I can't. They'll ask me if I'm okay but I'm not. The decorations are still up. Your presents are still under the tree. Mine aren't, they've been open for a while now. Thank you for the book and the necklace. It's beautiful; just what I wanted. I don't know what to do with your gifts. But there was a promise ring there, would you have accepted it?
Love, Roxanne.
