Dear you,
I attended the spring festival as we had planned. There was music and dancing and BBQs; you would've loved it. It rained the whole time I was there but that didn't stop anyone, in stead it made it better. I'd met someone there. They were a performer in one of the groups on stage. We'd spoken constantly throughout the three days and exchanged numbers, agreeing to stay in contact and further our friendship. After it had ended I had rushed back to you with asters and rose-tea. I had missed Wednesday for the first time in months. I've been wearing the promise ring I was going to give to you. I like to think that that way you can stay close to my heart. And for that I have only one reason. I loved you, darling.
Love, Roxanne.
