I always thought luck wasn't something that just happened. I believed you had to work for what you wanted out of life. I was never one of those people that had things handed to them. So when people looked at me and said I was lucky, I would huff at them. I'm at a good point in my life because I worked my ass off for it.

And let's not mention my attempted relationships. I sure as hell didn't have any luck there. I honestly thought I must have done something horrible in a past life, like sacrifice baby kittens in a satanic ritual to end up with the luck l had. I guess I was just burned too many times and I was left skeptical.

Things were starting to change though. Or should I say someone was changing my life. It's still hard for me to believe what I have now, if I sit and think about all the shit I've been through. I think too much. That's my problem.

I grew up in a small town called Graver just outside of Orlando. Being an only child, my parents were very strict with my upbringing, my education always coming first with a curfew of 9pm. I get along more with my mother who understands me better and supports my decisions. My father is a different story. He is a Neurosurgeon and wanted me to follow in his footsteps. So when I decided I didn't want to, he basically shut me out of his life.

Graduating high school early, I went off to college getting my MBA at seventeen. I'm a well known Financial Advisor in my area. Though it can be stressful most of the times, I love it. My mind needs to be challenged, or I will get bored easily.

The house I live in now was just on the outskirts of Orlando, the opposite side from Graver, in a country setting. It was an adjustment at first, but it's beautiful.

Oh, and I'm dating Harry Styles. Don't ask me how it happened. I still don't understand how he ended up in my small town, at the exact moment I was making an unexpected trip. Would that be considered luck? Or coincidence?

My eyes flickered when a bolt of lightening flashed across the pond, a trial of rain cascading down the window creating a haphazardly flow. The built in window bench I'm sitting on was one of the main reasons I wanted this house. Getting lost in nature, reading a book. Doesn't take much to appease me.
