"You don't have to do that Ryan

"You don't have to do that Ryan. I have no problem getting the plan to you before your vacation," I had one of my clients on the phone who has been very needy lately. I think I should change my profession to a therapist. The only problem with that was I'm not the best on giving advice. I'm just blunt and straight to the point. They would most likely leave my office crying.

"Yes. Two days and you will have it. Ok, I'll talk to you soon. Take care," I said hanging up.

This has been one hell of a day. My files are getting higher and I can't seem to catch up. I stopped taking on new clients a month ago so hopefully that helps. Harry wants me to slow down. Said that I overwork myself. And this is coming from him. He is currently working on three different projects.

I stood, stretching my arms above my head and twisting my back, popping a few bones. Ohh, that was much needed.

Feeling in a lazy rut, I decided to change into some leggings and get on the treadmill. I still wanted to take off a few pounds from the holidays anyway. I would usually go for a run but it's raining outside. And plus I didn't feel exactly comfortable running outside yet with what happened, unless Harry was with me.

Stepping on, I set the speed and put it at a slight incline. Putting on my playlist I was ready for take off. After about 20 minutes of running, my mind started to drift off to a certain memory that made me smile every time.

"Have you heard from him," Niki asked me.

I rubbed my eyes sighing.

"No. I texted him last night. He usually gets back with me." I laid my head back on my couch. "I don't know, Niki, maybe he lost interest. Who am I kidding, he probably realized I wasn't what he wanted."

"Shut it, Yolanda," she said.

I heard her take a deep breath. "We both know I am a huge fan of his but if he decided that then he is an idiot. You need to realize your worth, babe. Any man would be lucky to have you. Even Harry Styles."

I took another sigh. I was really starting to like him. He was different from any other man I've talked to. He made me feel something. I wasn't quite sure what it was yet, but I didn't want it to stop.

"Maybe. I can't help to think I'm just doomed in the love department. I can't seem to get any man to stick around longer than two months. It's like I have an expiration date. Fuck," I complained.

"I know you're not referring to Derrick? He was a jerk Yolanda. Not all men are like that. And it's better you found out what a dick he was before you invested anymore feelings on him."

Oh yeah. He was a dick. I had been dating him for almost two months when I went over to his apartment to surprise him with lunch and caught him screwing his brothers girlfriend. Real fucking charmer he was.
