"Wait can you repeat that?" Emily says.
Right when we got home I told my dad I was going to Emily's house. She came to pick me up and with her was Cody. I told them I had to tell them something.
We get to her house and go up to her room. Her parents were working right now. Emily sits on her bed with her back on the wall. Cody found out the worst way to not sit on her bed so he sits in front of it with his back to it. I'm sitting on a chair she has for her desk.
"I. Found. My. Mate." I say slowly when we got to her house.
At first she doesn't say anything or move. I look at Cody and he covers his ears. I'm about to ask him why, but then Emily screams.
"OMG NO WAY!" Emily says hugging me.
"Woman calm the fuck down." I tell her.
"Breathe." I hold her back not letting her go until she is calmed down.
"Ok I'm good." she says and I release her.
"That was just like the time she found out about that book called The Fever Code. I swear I thought you would never calm down." Cody says taking his hands off his ears.
"I wasn't that bad." Emily says blushing.
"No. It was worse." he says smiling.
"Enough about us. Let's talk about you." Emily says looking at me excited.
"I need to know right now these questions. Guy or girl. Name. Ranking. Pack. And nice or not. Go." pointing at me.
"Um. It's a guy." Emily squeals, Cody just smiles.
"His name is Julian. His dad is the alpha which makes him next." Emily starts to shake Cody. He takes her arm away from him and scoots away.
She glares at him and says, "Keep going."
"He lives in the Full Moon pack. And is a jackass but nice at the same time."
"What do you mean he's a jackass but not? You can only be one. Either a jackass or not." Cody gets closer at this with a confused look.
"Well he was really rude to his parents and stuff. But he was just weird with me not full on nice but not a jerk. I don't know. Does that even make sense?" I say putting my sweaty hands together.
"How does he look?" Emily says wriggling her eyebrows.
"He's hot no lie. But next time I go I'll send u guys a picture of him. You know I suck at describing things." Emily nods processing everything.
Cody just whistles and says, "I can't believe you found your mate before me." I laugh.
"I want my already so I can brag to you guys." Cody crosses his arms and pouts looking like a 5 year old.
"Destiny just loves me more than you." I say teasingly.
"I hate you." he mumbles.
"Love ya too." I tell him.
Emily is just watching us smiling at put childish behavior.
"When is the next time you're going to see him?" Emily asks.
"I don't know but when I left he had a note on his window saying, pay back is a bitch. I flipped him off when he went to the window."
"Your incredible." Emily says putting a hand over her forehead.
"What'd you do to make him mad? Or what didn't you do?" Cody says smiling up at me.
"You're almost there." I say smiling.
