*(Y/n's) dream Pov*
"Hello (Y/n). My name is W.D Gaster." My eyes widened as I walked closer to him.
"Can you step in to the light? It's hard to see you." He slowly walked forward and I was able to see that he was a skeleton, just like Sans. He had black pants a turtleneck and a lab coat. His skull had cracks that went above one eye and below the other. He was extended his hand and I took it in mine. Both his hands had holes in them.
"What language are you speaking? I-I can't understand what your saying."
"I'm spea-" he cleared his throat before speaking again.
"My apologies. I forgot you can't remember Wingding. Must I restate my name?"
"... It's Gaster, correct?" He smiled slightly.
"I feel like I know you. Did I meet you in another timeline?" He shook his head.
"Not directly, no. But I was there. Even if you didn't see me. You must have sense my presence." His eye, for a split second turned purple then back to normal.
"... so... why are you here? Do you think you can help us break the barrier?"
"Actually, I have an idea." I was interested in listening to him but then everything around me started to fade away. I panicked.
"Don't worry (Y/n). I'll come again tonight when your asleep. Goodbye." I woke up with Alphys and Undyne standing next to me.
"H-hey (Y/n). Have a n-n-nice nap?" I looked around, I was still in the lab on the bed.
"Where's Sans? And did the extraction go well?"
"Sans went out to get food. And we were able to get more this time before it cracked. And the crack is very minor, you can hardly see it." Undyne said smiling down at me. I got up from the bed and went upstairs while they kept working. I stepped out of the elevator and screeched as I nearly ran into Sans.
"Whoa, sorry sweetie. Didn't mean to scare ya." He had a bag of food in his hands and he noticed me staring at it. I didn't realize how hungry I was.
  "Uuh, you ok (Y/n)?"
"Oh! Sorry, I was just staring at that bag of beauty..." He laughed as he pulled out (f/f).
"Ooh my favorite!" He placed the bag in the elevator and pressed the button so it would go down to Undyne and Alph.
   "Did you get food?"
"Uh, no. I ate there. I didn't think that you'd be awake yet." I sat on a chair and watched the big monitor.
"Anything interesting on?" A dog was chasing his tail while still burying a bone in the snow.
"This dog seems pretty talented." We both laughed and talked until it was nighttime and we were back home. Well, I mean, at Sans's house. We fell asleep around midnight on the couch after watching a movie. It was once again all black and Gaster showed up again.
"Hello once again (Y/n). Do you feel ok?"
"Yup, the extraction went well, there's only a very small crack that should be gone by tomorrow." He walked away farther into the darkness.
"Where are you going?" I started walking in the direction he was going but ran into... Frisk?
   "*Hi (Y/n)...." she seemed upset.
"Frisk, why are you here? Is Chara here with you? Was this a set up?!" I felt myself tense up as my hands turned into fists.
"*Gasps* *No! Chara isn't here. I was able to leave her. But I don't have much time. And to be honest it would be better if she was here. Mr.Gaster said he knew how to break the barrier, me and Chara are the answer. After I fought Flowey, everyone thought the souls were just gone. But it's actually Chara who's keeping them all. If you can find a way to somehow, magically get Chara to give you the souls, then you can break the barrier." She looked around frantically. Her dark brown eyes filled with worry and fear.
"*I have to go. Please be careful, and know I'll try to help anyway possible." She turned around about to leave then stopped in her tracks. She turned her head to face me, eyes filled with tears.
"*... I know I don't deserve forgiveness, but, ... tell Sans I'm sorry." She disappeared, but then Gaster appeared behind me.
"Does that sound like a plan?" I nodded my head. I was filled with optimism. I awoke once again, with Sans leaning on my shoulder.
"Sans! Wake up!" He bolt awake.
  "What! Is something wrong?!"
"No, but listen to me. Frisk and a man named Gaster showed up in my dream. We made a plan to break the barrier. I don't think the souls we're making are going to work."
"You know Gaster? And, Frisk showed up? Was she with Chara?" I explained everything to him.
"Ok, we can use the souls we once had, but now we need to find out how to bring the demon here." He looked down and thought quietly.
"Oh, before I forget. Frisk wanted me to pass on a message."
  "Oh yeah, what?"
"...She said she was sorry. And she was crying when she said it." I knew Frisk killed his brother and he was never going to forgive her. ". . . H o w   c a n   I   b e l i e v e   t h a t?" His eyes were black and a wicked smile spread across his face. What I said next surprised even me.
"You can believe it because they haven't Reset yet. And if they were just curious they wouldn't put this much effort into helping us, Chara would make them pay. I know you may not believe me when I say this but, she knows you won't see your brother die again at least. Chara and her would keep killing him. She doesn't want you to go through the pain anymore." His eyes go back to normal but he seems broken.
"You forgot something." I looked at him curiously.
   "What I'd forget?"
"If they Reset, I wouldn't have you anymore." I pulled him into a hug.
"...I guess I can forgive Frisk. They aren't all bad, right?" I kissed him.
  "Right."
                              *Frisk's POV*
I smiled. I never thought I would hear him say those words. I was filled with DETERMINATION!
