(I'm to lazy to write in Wing Ding, so I'll just make it italicized.)
*Sans POV*
*Thinking* "Poor (Y/n). She's been having a rough time. I don't even know why she had a dream like that. I only said I remembered cause I felt bad." I was in my room, in the lab. Trying to figure out a way to make duplicate souls.
"...". I knew I was being watched.
"S a n s . . ." Then I knew who was watching me. My eye turned blue and I turned around. He was smiling down at me and I just stood and stared, shocked.
"Hello son." I smiled at him.
"I see your working in the lab again."
"Y-yeah. I'm working with the new royal scientist Alphys, trying to find how to break the barrier." He looked out the door and to the next room, where (Y/n) was sleeping.
"Your using (Y/n's) soul as help, right?"
"Yea, but when we tried to test on it, it started to crack. And I know she can Reset, but then we would lose our progress. And she would be in pain..." I said that last part quietly.
"You care for them, don't you?" I just nodded.
"... I'm very sorry about your brother
. . . m y s o n" I looked back at him, he was starting to glitch. I walked up and hugged my father.
"I missed you." I held tighter.
"I missed you too dad."
*time skip, brought to you by Author-Chan*
We both worked on the false soul, figuring out how to make duplicates. I knew we were about to crack the code.
"... Sans?"
"Yeah W.D?"
"How did (Y/n) get her memories back? I made it so no one could ever remember." I turned to look at him.
"I thought she was just having a nightmare. She woke up crying, saying how sorry she was. What was she talking about." He stopped what he was doing and teleported us to the Judgement Hall.
"Why are we here...?" My voice trailed off as I stood watched (Y/n) holding a knife in her hand. Blood was dripping from it and she started to smile, which turns into maniacal laughter. The ghosts of Chara and Frisk appear. I listen to what they say, and then watch as
(Y/n) kills Frisk and try's to kill the demon. I watched as she dropped her knife and broke down next to... my dust. She stared to scream and cry begging for forgiveness. Her soul appears filling the room with a golden glow. My jaw drops at her words.
"Please... never let us remember this or any other timeline with me in it... ever." A real smile comes to her face as it all goes dark, and I appear back in my room with Gaster looking at me straight in the eyes. I didn't know what to feel. But I knew I wasn't mad, I looked down trying to comprehending what I just saw.
"She... made everyone forget. Even me. She cared enough to make herself forget too." I looked up, expecting to see G, but he was gone. I was once again alone.
"She really cares, doesn't she. . . . . . . . . . I truly do forgive you, (Y/n)."
