Unacceptance

So long

Its been a 4 days without Chris at school. No one seems to care or even notice. Of course Johnny made me look stupid but I came up with a valid excuse. Im just home thinking about him. I miss him.

I went over to his house and seen police everywhere.

"Hi, sir excuse me whats goin-"

I guess he finally told.

I ran in the house looking for him and he came down with crutches and smiled.

Chris POV

I was happy to see Tamera. She knows the right time to show up. I gave her a hug and sat on the couch.

"Whats going on?"

"They are going to find someone to live with me or move me to a foster home. "

"You told? and thats kinda good right?"

"Yeah kind of.."

"Oh well.."

"If they move me in a foster home.. I wont be able to go to school anymore."

"Why??"

"It might be out of state or something"

"BUT THATS STUPID"

"I know.."

"How long are you gonna be away?"

"2 years? Until they either find a relative down here or when they see that I can be able to live on my own."

"At 16?"

"Thats actually great. They're babying me since im the victim and I took that chance."

"So, when you leaving?"

"Who knows."

It was a moment of silence. The cops came in and asked us questions and said for me to pack my things.

"The house will be returned to your mom and in that case you cant be in the same environment as her. We've find a relative in L.a for you to live with until state approves you living on your own. Which I dont think will happen. Im sorry."

After they left it was just us.

"Ima miss you."

I smiled. Tears kinda formed in her eyes but never fell.

"Well I guess this is goodbye?"

"Yeah."

We hugged and we went to pack up my things.

"When you leaving?"

"They say thursday."

"Wow right before the dance?"

"Yeah, I dont think I was feeling to go anyway."

"Thats fine. Me either."

"You should still go. Have fun for the both of us"

"Yeah and look stupid."

"Please?"

"Ill go. Stay in a corner or something."

"Yeah" I laughed.
